Location is perfect, right on the beach. Beach Chairs provided in our room and parasols available from reception. Our room was very spacious, having a separate bedroom area, living room and kitchenette, which had everything we needed. There was also plenty of closet space, drawers etc for clothes. We also had a spacious balcony with table and chairs where we could look out to the ocean. The pool was lovely and clean and had plenty of sun beds, chairs, tables and shaded areas, with the added benefit of an air conditioned pool house where you could chill to watch TV, make use of the refrigerator, get some ice, and use the restrooms. There was also a BBQ area, which we didn’t use, but looked really good. Housekeeping were great and came by every day with fresh towels and to empty bins. The owners and staff are all really friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. I would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back!

Everything about this property and the accommodations is outstanding: location, amenities, comfort, cleanliness and maintenance. While an older building, the rooms have been completely modernized. The staff goes out of their way to assure the facilities and grounds are pristine and you are well supplied with new towels and toiletries. Room service, like changing out the bed sheets was done multiple times throughout the almost two week stay. We chose to have it done it about every three to four days. More often if you wish. The pool is outstanding too, and very nicely heated. Will stay here again.

There is no elevator so if you have walking issues, stay in a first floor unit.

My reservation was lost for 1 of my 2 rooms...very scary experience as they said my reservation was canceled 1 day after I made it...and not by me. I was there with eldely mother and other family...I am afraid to book again. Said they were full and sorry...I had all my confirmation printed papers and credit card statements with proof of booking and full payment...finally after I showed them all my papers they gave me another room for more money. Loved the hotel but can't take chance on that again traveling so far from home

Incredible location right on the beach and also a very close drive to restaurants. View was fantastic and it was a simple walk down the stairs to get to the beach. Beach chairs (2) provided. Beach umbrella available from desk upon request. Bed and sofabed were extremely comfortable. Beautiful pool. Very accommodating for our late check-in and early check-out. Easy parking. Hard to find something not to like.

Bring your own beach towels- website said these were included, but they were not available. Certainly not a dealbreaker- but do come prepared!

Tuckaway Shores was a wonderful place to spend NYE! We wanted something quiet but fun on the beach, and it fit the bill exactly. The hotel and rooms have '60s(?) charm and an "old Florida" vibe, but everything is spotlessly clean and comfortable, and all amenities are modern. The suite was right-sized for two and had an excellent kitchen area, though the balcony overlooking the beach was the star of the ensemble. (Worth noting: This stretch of Melbourne Beach is quiet and pristine!) Staff take evident pride in the property - thanks for your warm welcome, flexibility and making our evening memorable!

Everything was great. The location is just wonderful. The room and facilities are spotlessly clean. The staff are very nice. The rooms are cute and well laid out with everything you need for light meals, etc.

It is an older place so walls are thin and we could hear a lot of noise in the morning. The room was a bit stuffy and I wondered how the a/c would be in very hot weather. But I think you have to expect that sort of thing in an older facility. The quaintness and beautiful location are well worth it.!

I was surprised that our room with 1 queen bed had a full refrigerator, two stove burner, microwave and coffee pot. When we booked it said there was only a microwave and mini fridge. We were looking for an efficiency when we booked and were unable to find one. This was just an added plus. The staff were friendly and available for anything you needed. The grounds were immaculate and well maintained. The room was spotless when we arrived and even had a cozy sitting room. It had easy beach access and a nice pool. It was a very relaxing trip, and I will be visiting there as often as I can.

The staff was very friendly. The location was wonderful, with beach access! Property was clean! I like the fact that they provide beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels for guest use. The balcony for our room was not one that you could walk out onto, but instead had a sliding door with balcony rails, so the whole living room became the balcony; that was different but we kinda enjoyed it!

No elevator, which is not a big deal to us but for someone elderly it would be a good idea to stay on the first floor.

The beach was so much fun. Kids loved it. It was amazing to open the sliding door and see and hear the waves. Loved the info about the turtles. Location of the place was perfect. Close to the beach and down the road from the stores. Everything was amazing. Specially the staff, they were really nice. Being as far away from home as we were (23 hrs drive) they made us feel like home. We 10000000% recommend staying there.

Honestly, there wasn't anything we didn't like. We wished we would have spent the whole vacation there instead of staying at a place before we stayed at this resort.

We are so glad we found Tuckaway Shores. Easy to find, short drive to great restaurants and shopping, beachy/modern rooms & very clean, staff was amazing. BUT the best part was the view! You won’t find better. We stayed on the third floor and so glad we did. The entire back, ocean facing wall, was a retractable slider which allowed for unobstructed view of the ocean. It was just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. We would definitely stay again! Thank you Tuckaway!
