The location was a couple of blocks from downtown Mount Dora. We were able to walk to the shops and restaurants. The staff was easy to contact and respond to a request upon our arrival. Parking was available in front of our buildings. We rented two units: the Hideaway and the Rendezvous. The Hideaway's HVAC system worked well as it was chilly at night but then warmer during the day. Plenty of hot water for showers. The king size bed was comfortable. The premises were clean, attractive and well maintained. And, it was quiet and in a lovely part of town.

Our unit (the Hideaway) was somewhat dated, darker but sufficient for our short stay. The ceilings were low overall with slanted attic walls in areas. Interior stairs were steep and bathroom small. The Rendezvous bathroom was small too but with higher ceiling and a brighter interior.

Maria is very kind and friendly while being professional. She answered all my questions and fulfilled any request or question I had. The woman who was about to clean the bottom garage and my room was also very friendly and was still kind when I told her I was sorry and couldn't leave as much tip for her ( i wasn't paying attention while shopping for my mother). I would definitely stay there again and make sure i put aside the tip this time so it reflects the amount they should of received.

There was nothing I did not like.

Location - Cleanliness - we have stayed at these properties before and have always found them to be great - Great location can walk easily to downtown area - shops and restaurants - screened in porch is perfect to relax

No outlets in the bathroom and very small - it is not a detriment so to speak as the overall accommodation outweighs this and we have stayed in this unit before, so we knew what to expect

The cottage is very charming, bringing back fond memories of how we lived in our childhood It's not luxurious but perfectly clean and comfortable. Our party of four siblings spent just one night but would have enjoyed a longer stay.

There is nothing to not like. It is a historic cottage and lives up to the name. If you are looking for luxury and high tech, then go elsewhere.

Location and they allow dogs

The room we were in was the top floor of the house. Both my sister and I are tall and found the ceiling being low a little uncomfortable. We have previously stayed on the ground floor and prefer that. Also we were required to book 3 nights and we only used 2

Traditional property with lots of charm. It was nice to have tea, coffee, creamer etc. In the cupboard on arrival. Great location, just a few minutes walk to main shops and restaurants. Plenty of parking space.

If you are looking for somewhere with very up to date facilities then this place isn't for you. We prefer somewhere with character so it was perfect for us.

The town was quiet and quaint, just like the cottage. The unit we stayed in was clean, air conditioned and contained the necessities of staying in a cottage such as a nicely equipped kitchen for cooking/eating. It was very clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows/blankets were very comfy. For a small cottage, it was nice and roomy. The housekeeper was there and helped us with our questions. There was even a w/d for our use as well as a grill and table/chairs for us on the patio.

We liked it all - what wasn't not to like? All the comforts of home.

Evreything that you needed was in the cottage.Hair dryer, iron, kitchen necessities, etc. Good AC, back deck to sit outside. Loved the old character of the building. The doors, cabinets, farmhouse sink. Took me back in time. All very clean! Quiet area

If anything at all, a screen door on the front to help keep the bugs out when opening the door.

The location to downtown Mount Dora was great. we parked the car and walked everywhere. The cottage was spacious and a french theme . Nice kitchen if you want to cook. The bed was comfortable.

The bathroom water pressure. The outside noise, you can hear every conversation, and someone had a loud motorcycle outside the bedroom window.

The property was so cute, clean, and it’s location was excellent! The best part was Maria (owner). She was so kind and available every time I had a question. I will definitely come back to Historic Tremain Cottage when visiting Mount Dora.

Nothing! I wish there were more wall outlets in the bedrooms but that’s an easy fix. I’ll just bring an extension cord with me next time. This property is wonderful and I hope I can stay here again.
