The owner was absolutely amazing and upgraded our room to a larger one when we checked in. The hotel is an older one but they are working hard to refurbish the units and the bathroom was completely new and our room had a full kitchen and separate bedroom. If you want a no frills, good priced hotel convenient to Lake Okeechobee I highly recommend this place.

The A/C could have been a bit larger for the unit size that we had but it was a very hot weekend and they are still in the process of upgrading the units.

On arrival, Dave was very nice, friendly, and helpful. He had us checked in literally in less than a minute. He spent the other few minutes telling us about the town, asking about our travels and just being a total neighbor. The room was quaint and adequate. The water was hot, and the fridge was cold. The room was clean, and there were plenty of linens. Overall, it was a great experience. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Okeechobee.

Was as described. Room was very clean. Had fridge with freezer. Staff was helpful. The bed was comfortable. Electrical outlets on both sides of the bed. You can tell the property is cared for. What else do you need

As other reviews noted, the bathroom is a little small, but it was very clean and fully stocked with amenities.

My husband and I were in town fishing.. upon checkin, Dave who was assisting us with parking our boat, gave us a room upgrade so that we could be closer to where our boat was parked. He was pleasant and extremely helpful. The room was clean and newly renovated. Will absolutely stay here again next time we're in Okeechobee fishing!

The property is well cared for. It is very clean and comfortable, and the owners are kind, very nice people. There is not one thing that I dislike about the Scottish Inn in Okeechobee. It’s obvious that Dave and his wife take pride in their motel and the service they provide!

Probably one of the best motels in Florida. Dave (the owner) is very friendly and takes his job to heart in all aspects, the rooms are furnished down to the last detail for a motel. The price is very correct for what you get.

Check in was very easy and room was prepared and ready for me even though it was late at night when I arrived. I also appreciated that the room was checked and clean daily.

It would’ve been better if the black out curtains actually blacked out all the light from the morning sun. Due to the morning sun coming through the bathroom window, the bathroom was extremely hot on a daily basis.

The office staff had excellent customer service and the room was VERY clean! It smelled very clean too. The rooms are a good size and the bathroom was small but not necessarily in a bad way. It was perfect for what w needed and at an affordable price. We will be staying again soon!

The large room was spotless , nice basic kitchen with table and chairs The gentleman at the desk was super friendly. Let us check in early, and gave us a up grade to a handicap room which was very roomy
