I love the location, the family suite (with living room and kitchen), the facilities are great and the swimming pool is amazing for kids!

In the last few years, I have always stayed at this hotel, and I loved it! I think it is the eighth time that I have stayed at Cabana, I have always recommended it to my friends, but this time I had a very bad experience with a completely ruined room. Peeling bathtub, damaged benches and sofas, bed with holes in the mattress… horrible! The staff promptly changed our room and apologized, but I think the rooms need urgent renovation! I reinforce that I love this hotel, but I'm rethinking it if they don't make improvements to the rooms especially.

Everything in one place. You could walk to volcano bay. But to get to parks and city walk u need to take a universal bus.

Drinks (non alcoholic) were extremely over priced. Sun screen was extremely over priced. Besides early park admission there were no guest benefits for staying at a universal resort.

Safe feel to the place , it has lots of facilities , very handy for volcano bay Just a few min walk . And free buses to the universal City walk and parks. And Ubers are very easy to use to international Drive for the likes of crazy golf or restaurants. Normally 10/20 dollars , can be more expensive at peak times .

Prices of food , alcoholic drinks and even non-alcoholic drinks are double the price of most bars and restaurants on the international Drive, which is just a few minutes away in a uber , beer working out at €11 a pint. Drinks cups can be bought for soft drinks for about $25 for seven day pass and can be used for unlimited refills of soft drinks at various locations round the hotel. But it’s to be expected to be paying a premium in these hotels .

this hotel was way better than expected and the best was the bed and the pools. my god, those beds! incredible comfy! pool area was not crowded at all and with free towels. two different pools so perfect for the kids. good value if you are off to Universal! would go again.

the reatuarant, the diner, was way to big an noicy. this needs a remodel to not resemble a school cantine. such a pity but we avoided to eat there the whole time. even the grab and go breakfast was way under reasonable, no healthy options to go at all and very pricey.

Upon checking into the hotel there is a counter at which you can request for the hotel to store your luggage, incase your room isn't ready or for other purposes. This is what I did as I was early and my room was still being prepared. Thereafter I was able to enjoy my day at Universal Studios. I was able to take the shuttle that's provided by the hotel. Multiple shuttles do runs to and from the parks throughout the day and from my experience, are always on time. Usually already there by the time I walk 2 minutes from the lobby to the pick up spot! Convenient and comfortable ! The room was fresh and clean, I stayed in the Americana building. The cleaner would come every second day however if you needed your room cleaned on any day, you would be able to request this. There are multiple food stations at which you can order breakfast, lunch and supper. There are 2 pools on the property and a lazy river as well with tube's provided and tiny life jackets for younger kids. All in all I had a brilliant stay at the hotel. Every interaction with the staff was pleasant and felt welcoming and courteous.

Food portions were huge haha !

The pool was fantastic, we spent every day sitting around it. The water was warm and inviting, the children there were having so much fun. We didn't realize that so many childrens sports teams would be using the facility but they were all friendly and seemed to stay more on the other side of the hotel. Alot for the kids to do.

Now the bad news, at least to us. No decent food, cafeteria style food is ok for a day or two but not all week long. No sit down restaurant which meant we had to find someplace to get a nice meal. Everything there is premade and quite expensive for what it is. The cheapest meal was 30 dollars for 2 premade turkey subs and a bag of chips with a drink, not cool for a family.

The localisation was perfect. A great place close to all the best food. Close to all the parks, a wonderful 15-minute walk but also close to the water taxis and shuttle buses. Really recommend coming here.

Wonderful pools and location.

Night staff was unfriendly at check in. Seemed like I was bothering her when we got to the hotel at 3:30am. and she made a comment about why did I get a room when I wasn't checking in until the next day. I had to explain to her that my plane was 2 hours late and still had to get my rental car. Then she said the room key machine wasn't working so I had to return to the desk the following day again to pick up my keys which was a hassle and took up time. All of the other staff was wonderful and friendly though.

Staff were excellent, hotel location was brilliant and so were the coaches to the CityWalk. The pool areas were superb. Loved the heated pools and life jackets for the kids. Food and drink were really nice. As were the fire pits beside the pool, and the pool was open until 10pm at night the kids really loved that some nights. We would absolutely return to this hotel it was brilliant and the smoothie bar and Starbucks were brilliant as well. Ultra easy to use Uber from the hotel as well. The bowling was great it does cost you but was a good night.

Rooms could have been bigger. Not really much storage for a family of four for 14 nights. We had a couple of ants one night but it got sorted asap.
