We absolutely LOVE this place. This is our second time staying at Carlton House and the room was clean and fresh. The full kitchen has everything you need to cook a wonderful meal including seasonings. It is also very quiet and you can close all of the drapes/shades so that it is dark if you want to sleep in. We highly recommend you book your next stay in St. Pete Beach at Carlton House.

The location along with the room itself was phenomenal. Quiet and quiet places like this little gem is what makes your getaway so worth while. The cleanliness exceeds most hotels I used and the nearby restaurants, bar& grills and beaches are a major plus. We were there to celebrate my daughter's Birthday and the staff was kind enough to have B-Day decorations upon our arrival.

everything about the property was wonderful from the time we checked in until the time we left. The owners were incredibly nice, and had such awesome camaraderie with everyone that was there. The location was perfect right pretty much in the middle of everywhere we could walk and we felt very safe. All of the guests raved about all the other times they’ve stayed in the past and because of this continue to keep coming back. I will definitely come back again!

I don’t believe there was anything that I did not like. Because it was so centrally located. It made everything so easy. And when we stayed at the pool, they already had towels for us and everyone was so happy and the help was wonderful. They always had clean towels for us for the next day and everything was exceptional. I will definitely come back again! In the 40 years I have traveled I have never had this type wonderful accommodations as we did.

I had two nights booked at Bayside Inn and Marina. And after 1 night of being unable to stay asleep due to the bed, I checked out. I booked a room here at Carlton Inn and it made everything better. I slept soundly the next night, the bathroom had faucets that were easy to use, and a toilet paper dispenser that was not awkwardly placed. Although it looked older on the outside, everything was great inside. Being able to walk to the beach in the morning for a swim is a definite plus. Also a lot of restaurants in walking distance for breakfast.

The wifi seemed to go in and out.

Extremely nice owner, tried to help in any possible way; Property is very clean, well designed, kitchenette has everything what one would like to have in their own kitchen, including salt and pepper. Clean heated pool, laundry, daily coffee, quiet, charming little garden, parking, very close to the beautiful beach...

I liked everything

Great location, clean. All the comforts of home. Needed ice cube tray, salt & pepper. Air conditioner really loud but thought it was perfect for a week long stay. Very comfortable. Could upgrade furniture in the living area.

We were made very welcome. Very clean and well maintained. Small and friendly. Easy walk to the beach. Easy walk to a selection of restaurants and bars. Well equipped kitchen with huge fridge/freezer. Heated pool with loungers and fresh towels every day. Housekeeping/fresh towels daily.

Just a charming place! We were upgraded to an efficiency at no charge and it made our stay all the more enjoyable! Quiet, clean and very close to the beach. I would highly recommend!

If I had one complaint, it would be the pedestal sink in the bathroom. I need more room to put my stuff. LOL. I feel silly even complaining about that. The place was wonderful!!!

The grounds are lovely, and the room was perfect. It was a small dining area, kitchen, couch, queen bed and bathroom.

There was a red phone at the door of the office/ the sign instructed me to pick up in order to check in. No answer, voice mail went right to “full”. I waited about ten minutes, retried. Thankfully, there were friendly people around, who helped me to find the person who would check me in elsewhere on the grounds.

this hotel is only 2 blocks from the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and shopping, the hotel had alot of outside seating and a very relaxed atmosphere. the rooms and grounds were very clean and well taken care of.
