I liked the beautiful beach and all the activities that Tradewinds offers. I also loved how cold the AC was in my room!

I did not like that the property holds $200 per night in addition to the cost of the stay and parking. I understand an incidental fee, but $200 a night is way too much .

Location

Bugs in the room. The bed appeared old and mattresses were uncomfortable. The bedding had some stains and tears.

The location and facilities are good.

The service at the reception was not good. We arrived a little early and asked if the apartment was ready, if we could check in and pay for late checkout. The receptionist said the apartment was not ready and we could not do late checkout. The manager then came and intervened in the conversation due to a triple charge on my card when I swiped it and said we could check in and do the late checkout that had been paid for. We were confused. In short, the service at the reception is terrible. The hotel is very old and needs repairs and maintenance. The lakes have very dirty water, they made a mess with wires showing externally in the elevators, some of them broken, the carpet is very old in the hallways, etc.

The facility is awesome

I didnt like that I didnt know they charged 220 per night until I drove 9 hours all the way there to only find out they are taking over a thousand dollars from for incident hold. Even though im suppose to get it all back. I had to change a bunch of plans financially . It was very inconvenient for me because I had plans with that money. I hate to say I probably wont be going back to that resort only because of that reason. Unless they change it. Because what if I didnt have it when I arrived. It would've been a homeless vacation.

Tended to eat breakfast in my room as excellent facilities there

Disabled parking was limited and spread out with no real designated area and could end up long way from lobby. Aware you are post hurricane but maps led one to believe there were a number of dining facility which were not available. Aware that we are becoming a cashless society but the added expense of exchange rate on low cost items eg cup of coffee were quite high.

The Beach was stunning, and we had cabanas and clean beach towels available to us every day. We had three pools to choose from and they were heated which was great for a December trip.

Our room (2 bed apartment) is in need of some updates. There were a few maintenance issues when we arrived (broken mirror, broken hob, tv's would not connect). However, the maintenance team were great and fixed these things pretty quickly for us.

Although we had issues, staff and management were very professional. I paid for an upgrade room, however; I do wish I would have been compensated for one night. Hopefully, you can send a comp for 1 night in an email, as a redo would be nice.

Bathrooms not attended or refresh. Staff was not checking for wristbands, as a group of 10 came onto property. Management did comp a dinner for us. Housekeeping did not refill body wash… I do not know the last time, as was totally empty.

Great location and resort. Beach cabanas arebawes9e, they do get taken up quick so reserve early. Tradewinds is walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Loved our time there. There are a decent amount of children at this resort, so keep that in mind depending on what your looking form Main bar by the poll was quick and had delicious food, and the frozen drinks were fantastic.

They were working on the elevators so one was down all weekend whochbwlcaused quite a jam trying to get up to 5th floor. We just avoided the elevator and used the stairs. Not a big deal, I'm sure it's much better when both a re elrunning

We liked everything about our stay. The beachfront all the pools and other things to do. It was a great experience and we loved the Sunday night volleyball game in the dark.

When we were leaving there was a rude front desk person that we were trying to request a cart to bring our belongings down and she was less understanding than the rest of the staff but other than that everything was 10/10.

Everything was very good, the beach, pool, room. The only thing is that I thought it was a little expensive but unfortunately as a grandparent you make sacrifices and pay but it was a little overpriced.

That it rained both evenings so we saw the first sunset in the rain and the second one was raining too much to go outside to experience it,
