We loved the cabana that was provided with the room. The outside hotel bar was great too. The cabana boys kept non-visitors with umbrellas and tents out of the hotel designated beach zone.

The beds are not cleaned every day, it's every 3 days for long stays.... unless requested. But have to be out of the room ALL day for beds to be cleaned. Left our room at 9am, came back at 1:30pm the towels and trash had been taken care of but not the beds. Had to ask multiple times when it would be taken care of without an answer. Left the room for lunch (at 1:30pm) came back at 3pm, the beds still had not been touched. We were finally told that our room would be finished by 8pm, came back at 7:40pm and the room was finally finished. It made for an extremely long tiresome day.

The view of the Gulf of Mexico from our 3rd floor, balcony guestroom was simply fabulous! Beautiful, amazing view of the beach, the ocean and was just spectacular! Loved the balcony and the room was very nice and comfortable.

The Dolphin Resort hotel is currently undergoing a lot of renovations and parking right now was a little more burdensome, but we still had good parking out front. There's a lot of painting and remodeling going on right now, (September/October 2024). The main restaurant was closed right now. Still really enjoyed our 4 night stay there nonetheless.

We love to stay at this property when we visit St Pete. Great value for your money. I can’t wait until next time.

When I booked a room on the first floor overlooking the pool, I thought I would have in and out access from our hotel room. You could go out the door, but you could not come back in and had to walk all the way around the pool and go through the side door and down the hallway to get back to your room. That was quite a nuisance. The rooms on each side of us both had a little patio area to sit out and could access your room from the pool area. And come to found out, I paid several hundred dollars more than those guests did.

Beach facing with patio on ground floor. It was awesome. We loved the location of our room close to pool, outdoor beach bar, and of course right on the beach! Staff was polite and courteous at front desk, in restaurant and bars, and houseleeping. Room was clean and spacious. The Dolphin is at a good location across the street from Publix and many restaurants nearby. We rented a car which was helpful to get up and down the Gulf Road.

We wished there was more than one sofa chair in the room to watch TV. Also, being on the first floor patio it would have been nice to have access to a broom to sweep the patio beach sand to help keep it out of the room.

Property has a great location. Directly on the beach. Having beach cabanas was a plus. Conveniently located across the street from a Publix, Starbucks, & dolphin landing . We took the Sun-runner bus to Tropicana Field (bus stop next door to resort) for a Red Sox game. Walkable to other local restaurants/stores. Download the Freebie app for transportation along gulf blvd. On site restaurants and bars were great. Staff were friendly & accommodating. We had the best lunches at Flippers. Great spot for drinks and sunset views. Overall great vacation.

Property was a little dated but we were told they are going under renovations this July.

Location is a 10! Prime walk out to the beach sunset spot. The cabanas for guests were huge to me. The heated pool with view of the gulf and sunset is perfect. The beach bar and music every day made it so fun. Also the food at the hotel restaurant was amazing. I loved the pina coladas, mahi, the omelets, the crab cakes, chicken wings and the delicious drinks! Also I appreciated the daily offering of activities and live music.

Just a bit dated, but was more quaint and charming than a being turn off.

Beach location was wonderful! Location of the hotel was great, within walking distant of anything you might need. Publix, drug store, Starbucks, IHOP, Japanese steakhouse, dollar tree, Icecream shop, etc. The room was very nice except for the fact that they did not have a room with a king size bed available. Had to take a room with 2 double beds! This was not good. All employees at the hotel are FANTASTIC!!! What a nice group of employees!

The rooms on the inside around the doors and all moulding could use some fixing up. The hotel is on the older side and could use a good renovation! A/C was ice cold, bed was comfortable.

All staff at the front desk, restaurant, housekeeping were super helpful and friendly. Fantastic location. Large room. We liked the free welcome drink pass, free cabana, $15 per day allowance for food or drinks. Great surprise and delight, we were not expecting that. The restaurant was very good, really enjoyed an unusually good chicken quesadilla. Again, very friendly staff members.

Almost nothing to have issue with. My wife thought the bed was a little too soft but I thought it was good - personal preference. Everything in the bathroom worked well, but maybe some minor updating of the shower faucet.

What an exceptional hotel super family friendly, the restaurant is a little hidden gem. The food from breakfast to dinner was excellent. The fish and shrimp were top-notch and tasted wonderful super fresh. And the portions were huge! Every day I had $15 off the meals plus the meal was super reasonable, which I was not expecting, certainly come again everything at the hotel was exceptional thank you dolphin resort for your GREAT hospitality!!

The bed will need to be replaced eventually, but other than that everything was exceptional

The location, size of the pool and the beautiful beach. The room size is amazing and the views were incredible from our room. The rooms are very large and the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable! The perks that you receive for the resort fee or awesome! They have plenty of lounge chairs around the property and definitely around the pool. The staff were very welcoming. If you have kids, there are a lot of things for them to do. Overall, I would stay here again.

We tried to go to the restaurant to eat at 11:05 a.m. and we were told that they were not serving food until noon because they had to switch over for lunch. Having information in the room for the restaurant and bars would've alleviated our issue. There is absolutely nothing to do at this hotel for adult entertainment (live music). All entertainment is off property. The 3 nights we were there, the only entertainment they had was a little karaoke at the inside bar. I would have preferred to stay at my own hotel and listen to some live music.
