The room was updated and clean!!!! And great price!!! I would definitely recommend this place. Beds were comfortable and I love that it had a kitchen..

Checking out at 10 was way to early. Usually check out is at 11 and 10 we felt a little rushed. And the outside needs to be updated Because the rooms are amazing...

Easy arrival, great communication! The room had everything we needed. So clean! Very pleasant and stylish decor.

We were not able to use the pool. It had not been cleaned before arrival. Pool chairs were a bit difficult to adjust.

Pool was charming (small) but clean and inviting. Room #2 was clean and the beds were nice. I wish the pillows had been better quality and they need some window coverings or drapes in the room because the blinds were nice but the sun still came into the room quite early when we really could have used some room darkening drapes. But still it was fine because the sun was inviting us to go out and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the beach. We would definitely stay here again. The hot plate in the room was not very strong and it took a long time to boil water. I'd recommend updating them to induction portable cooktops for better efficiency. The room had everything we needed to cook quick simple meals. We had a great stay and can't wait to book again.

Room was too bright first thing in the morning. Invest in some room darkening curtains for guests who wish to sleep later because the sun was extremely bright in the rooms before 7:30 am. The loungers around the pool were very low to the ground and not easy to get in and out of. The shower head is very weak. I'd recommend also updating the shower head to give a stronger shower experience.

The room was nice and clean the bed was nice and comfortable.

The room was right next to the parking lot and didn't feel to private because the front door had windows and there was a light right next to the door that kept me waking up because it was hitting me right in the eyes. But my wife was on the other side of the bed and the light didn't hit her she loved it and slept great. The staff was real nice and offered to switch my room

I walked around Blind Pass neighborhood and business area extensively. The Sun Island Motel is an excellent location for walking, for access to St. John's Catholic Church, and to drive to all the area beaches and restaurants. The room was small but clean and well-equipped, especially in the little kitchen. The manager, Vanessa, was responsive, friendly and very welcoming. My dg was very welcome by the management and other guests. Overall, everyone was friendly and though I only stayed one night, I felt like I was in a little community of people. I will return to this motel. The only thing I missed was not being able to walk to a beach access - though I could walk to both the intracoastal and the Gulf ... just not to get IN the water!

Location was very convenient for my work travel. Even though the unit was small they really used every aspect of the space and made it feel spacious. Plenty of storage. A cute built in kitchen area, etc.

Nothing. I can't speak about the pool as we didn't use it. There was nothing to complain about. Great place to stay.

Room was clean comfortable bed,the price was well worth it you are only 5 mins from treasure island 2 mins from amazing Italian food and laundry is close by as well.kids loved the pool they had a grill we could cook on very pleasant will definitely be bavk

Everything was fine

Check in was all mobile. No need to go to a front desk. Bed and pillows were so soft, I slept so good!

Limited parking. Even though they have extra parking at the church across the street. Still not a lot of parking.

Exceeded our expectations for the price. Excellent location, Room smelled good on entry, bed was comfy, sheets were surprisingly soft, well equipped, just a good place to lay your head for a night or two.

Would prefer more flexibility on check-in time, its pretty noisy, but not much they can do about that. Nothing fancy, but good clean value and location.

Access to the room was keypad meaning due to our flight delay we had no issues with access. The room was amazing, large clean and fully equipped with everything you could need. The pool was clean and was a fantastic addition to this lovely motel
