Our room was spacious and QUIET! Loved the king sized bed and the kitchenette was perfect for our needs. Hotel is across the street from the river's edge with adirondack chairs, umbrellas and it's own private pier. Watched the sun rise from the pier with the dolphins churning up breakfast. The best amenity is the outdoor tiki bar/deck/grill area for guests to use. What a great place to enjoy the company of friends and family for a few cocktails or a cookout! No pool, but we wouldn't have used it anyway - boating and riverfront dining is much more entertaining!

A hook or two over the bathroom door to hang towels - that's about it!!

Large rooms! My wife and I came to wait out some weather on our kayak-sailing trip. We had originally been considering another nearby hotel, and were weighing the advantages and disadvantages of the two. Davis House certainly looked like the nicest option in town, but it was 1 mile walking with the kayak. We reserved it anyway, only to find that they have a private beach with dock (and kayak dock) right in front of the hotel! It was amazing! Of course, as other reviewers said, the stay was wonderful. Quiet, comfortable, and you can tell that the owner has a lot of attention to detail in the little amenities in the room. The cleaning staff was friendly and happy - all signs of a well run organization. We couldn’t be happier. We even had an issue with the Wi-Fi due to the inclement weather, and Kyle brought us a cellular based router to use in the room to bypass the issue. 10 out of 10 for sure. I uploaded a photo so you can see how close the hotel is to the landing beach. I wish I had known this in advance because I would have reserved here without hesitation!

Location was excellent; within walking distance to several excellent restaurants. Facility isn’t fancy but has all the character of the area. Our room was extremely clean and quiet. With a very comfortable bed. They provide bikes to ride on the waterfront which has a large and lighted sidewalk. Their dock and small beach area provides a great place to relax and view all that nature provides. We didn’t use their BBQ area but it looked very inviting. We wil go back.

The toilet and tub/shower area is small/tight. However, the adjoining sink with dressing area is roomy.

The room was very clean, which I appreciated more than you could imagine! It was spacious, the grounds were charming and location was nice because it wasn't right on top of the noisy areas of the main streets. We were happy to have a larger refrigerator, the small kitchenette and living space to just relax.

I have to admit that the bed wasn't very comfortable and I'd love to have more blankets. Additionally the air conditioner may need some servicing/ filter cleaning which I totally understand but it did create a bit of odor.

Steps away from the intercostal, you can’t beat the location. The neighborhood is very charming, nestled around older Florida homes and great restaurants. If you like to walk around, there is park nearby as well as a boardwalk. ( unfortunately it was a blistering 105 F with heat index so I couldn’t get the full experience) The room is very clean and there is a terrace where you can eat or just “ chill” a bit. I highly recommend this place!!

The location is excellent as it is a one minute walk to the marina and a just a couple of minutes to several good restaurants. I stayed for over two weeks and found the kitchen really handy. The owners are super helpful and lovely people. I will definitely choose Davis House Inn for future visits to Sebastian!

Our king suite (room #8) was nice. We had a small kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The furnishings are dated but everything was very clean. The location/view was also nice as we were across the street from the Indian River. There are many restaurants and coffee shops nearby.

The furnishings are dated. The TV in the bedroom was exceptionally small and the one in the main sitting area wasn't much bigger.

Met my every expectation and beyond. Met and talked to Kyle the owner. Location to good food and fun time on the water was in walking distance. I will return to stay here again. It will be a first choice.

The microwave on top of the refer was risky at best. Needs a proper coffee maker. At night hard to see the entry door key slot. The no like list is short and would not prevent me from staying there again.

Close to great fishing, and wonderful restaurants! Also loved that our room was like a little apartment!!! Oh, and no carpet! And the kicker? After showering, you can walk barefoot in the room and not have to wash your feet again! In other words, they do a great job cleaning!!!

No pool 🥺

Kyle, the owner, is amazing! He always answered the phone and took care of our requests immediately. Shortly after checking in and unpacking everything, the air conditioner went out. He came immediately to check it out, gave us the option of moving to another room or he had a new a/c unit he could replace with a little help from my honey. WHAAAAT??? That would NEVER happen at a big name hotel!!!! Within 30 minutes (I kid you not!!!) we had a new A/C and set at 68 we had icicles. And this was a regular sized hotel a/c - NOT a window unit!!! Loved our stay!

Nothing! The suite was immaculately clean, well supplied with all household essentials and fabulous restaurants close by. Ask Kyle for his recommendations for great food!
