The location is in the center of the waterfront restaurants , bars and activities. The main hotel building is old but they have done a lot to update it. The River King tour boat that does dolphin and manatee watching tours leaves right from their dock. There are 4 bars and restaurants on property and there are several others within walking distance. The tiki bar at the resort had live entertainment the Thursday and Friday we were there. Will definitely stay there again the next time we head back up coast.

The main kitchen is closed the whole month of September so had to go off site for breakfast and any thing more substantial than hot dogs burgers and wings.

Breakfast at Blackfins was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious and the prices for the enormous amount of food you got made me feel like it was 2016 all over again. The espresso machine in the main lobby was a huge hit. By our second night at the Sandbar the bartenders knew us by name and handed us our favoritedrinks before we even sat down. Was a great vibe and made us feel like we were locals.

The curtains in the master bedroom hung down over top of the air conditioner causing the air to blow up behind the curtains instead of blowing out directly into the room. This is my only complaint, and it is really nit picking.

Great place to spend a Saturday night on our road trip. Large clean room with all we needed (inc. a decent coffee machine!😁). Short walk across the road to the sandbar restaurant area with live music and a good, busy vibe. Bar food is available but we ate in the restaurant which has a decent holiday menu - it's tasty - but you won't lose any pounds here! Fortunately room rate includes an hour of cycle/kayak/paddleboard rental - so we were able to work off some of the damage!

That they charge $3 for a $1 bag of chips and still feel the need to charge you $0.37 in taxes as if they aren't making enough off everything else.

When I ask for a handicap room on the first floor, with my 2nd room close to it for my friends. (That are helping me with my handicap wife) I even call to confirm it, and call again to day before to reconfirm it. Only to get my handicap room on the 2nd floor, and the other room on the first floor.

Everything, the location was perfect, room clean and tidy overlooking the pool area , Restaurants and Bars (although a little worn) were ideally a short walk away from the hotel complex right on the seashore .. Every member of staff from the welcoming receptionist to the servers in all areas were very friendly and accommodating, food for brunch and breakfast was of good value and tasty … we will return soon ..

The staff were very friendly. The resort complex includes a restaurant & two bars. Their breakfast was good. Lunch & Dinner were excellent - the Jumbo Fried Shrimp Basket which my friend & I had we both thought was among the best we've ever had. The resort is very close to the Mel Fisher Treasure Museum, and other restaurants, bars, & parks. The bed in my room was quite comfortable. The bathroom was clean & modern.

The ac unit in my room worked on only one setting: fan. I had to unplug it.

Great stay, great vibe at the bar and the stage. The property has a really cool hospitality/party suite that overlooks the stage. If you have a group of friends definitely ask about booking it!

Charging a resort fee is pretty uncool. We really liked the property, but the resort fee just seems like a needless money grab. While this is certainly nothing to do with the property, don't go to the Wendy's across the street for breakfast! Lol

Breakfast was great. Location was beautiful. Staff were all very hardworking and kind. Attentive service and the hotel had a lot of perks. Coffee bar was great. Live music most of the day.

Our room was very clean and upgraded, however, our room specifically smelled very moldy. Also, we stayed through Monday. It would have been great if they had live music until at least 7 or so. Many people at the bar would have stayed I think if so.

The location was great. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. The lock on our door didn't work, so we were moved to an upgraded room. It was wonderful! Thanks for taking such good care of us.

They need to tell you that the resort fees are separate from the total price when you book your trip. They mention a resort fee, but it never says during the booking process how much they are or that it's extra from the total price. As someone who is a small business owner, that's a little misleading and sneaky.

Everything was fabulous,from the front desk to the maintenance crew everyone was very nice . The place is spotless, the beds are the best . The facilities are outstanding, you never have to leave . You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner there . You can have happy hour with music there. And dance the night away then retire to your room . Don’t miss out stay here
