The staff were very helpful and hospitable. The rooms and property were very cosy, clean, safe feeling, and in a very convenient location for local fishing destinations. We were pleasantly surprised to find that each room had its’ own full kitchens with an oven, 4-burner stove, microwave, fridge/freezer and come complete with silverware, dishes and cookware. The pool and surrounding area was kept very clean, and we enjoyed spending time there. The price was also very reasonable compared to other larger hotels in the area.

Good communication, they called to inform us of the office hours and kindly arranged for check in after close. The whole place was clean, beds were comfy and the pool was nice and clean. There are many stores close by and minutes from the beach!

Actually a hidden gem. Very quiet spot with a great outdoor area including a pool.

Not that it makes a difference,but there were no soaps. Would not deter us from recommending this spot

It was at a good location

Well the night we got there we checked in and while we were out to dinner the front desk called and asked if we had a dog...which was kinda weird why they wouldn't of waited til we were back to the hotel to ask we thought something was wrong. The hotel was not busy at all and we had a bike and a car and we were told we could not park them together. Overall it was nice.

Whenever doing a little treasure hunting at the area beaches for a few I always book the Pennwood Motor Lodge. For what it is, the place is always clean, quiet, no bugs, and an overall good value for the money. They have a nice pool area. The room was clean and comfortable. We received new towels and the bed was made every day. Not fancy but sufficient. We considered it an "old school" motel, even had a regular key!

We were surprised that a hair dryer was not provided and had to purchase one while we were there.

Nothing I defrosted the refrigerator. LOL A carryover from my work days. If I did relief work at another drugstore the 1st thing I did was check the refrigerator.

the Pennwood folks are always so kind and helpful. I’ve needed to book there without much notice several times and they’ve always been accommodating. the staff/team are friendly. the rooms are older, the beds are reasonable, and wifi is 80% but overall the quality for the price is pretty good. I pay attention the shower and bathroom facilities and the wifi/tv, and also to the outside noise and bed comfort.

wifi is weak, but is sufficient for me, tv channels are limited but they’re getting better as they appear to be upgrading TVs. not much else I’d say I didn’t like. it’s comfortable for me for a couple nights. if staying longer and needing a kitchenette it’s important to mention that when you’re booking

The staff were very helpful in getting my room changed to one closer to the pool when I checked in. The Pennwood Motor Lodge is a very good value and is conveniently located near a Publix and a Walgreens.

Everything was good...

had a old Florida Rustic feel. rooms were not to big yet also not to small. open both windows a little bit and the fresh salt water air flows right through the room for always a crisp pleasant fresh air smell. like old Florida before air conditioning but updated with all the amenities expected in a higher priced hotel. Even the shower had a seat in it. Service from staff was very good as like we were staying with faimly.
