Coffee was ready early which worked for us since we went out birding before the Sun rises. The location is step away from some great restaurants. Customer service (on the phone) was friendly and helpful. Close enough to St Augustine's historic district but far enough not to be swept up in all the tourists. Was easy to check in and get in to the room. If you aren't able to use a smart phone there is no one on premise really to check you in and get you in to the room so just keep that in mind.

On Monday we couldn't get in to the lobby to get to the coffee. Not sure why but really the only problem.

It is a cute property located near everything that was of interest to me. I loved having the nice coffee bar. A refrigerator and a microwave was a nice convenience

The bed and pillows were definitely not comfortable to me. I do prefer having coffee available to me in my room, but the coffee bar was still a nice convenience. When a room comes with earplugs it announces to me that there is going to be a noise issue. The air conditioning, and the street noise definitely kept me up at night. I was in room 101 so probably I was in the worst room for someone who prefers to sleep where is quiet.

We loved that this original vintage hotel is being preserved. The location within walking distance of the downtown and fort area is convenient. There are some great local businesses nearby. We highly recommend Old Coast Ales and the taco place next door. We stayed in the back corner upstairs room and weren't bothered by any road noise as mentioned in other reviews.

Although the hotel was nicely updated at some point there are some areas that could use a refresh. The lamp shades in our room were falling apart and the balconies needed painting.

Hotel was an updated 60’s style motel. Rooms were updated and comfortable for our short stay. Walk in shower was nice. Only complaint is the toilets are very short and small which was an issue for us older folks. Short drive over Lions Bridge to downtown St Augustine. This is a fully electronic motel for check in, key, etc. We and others had issues with getting the electronic key but resolved via phone call. All in all it was worth the price for a short stay.

We loved the retro vibe and the location! It's situated in a quiet neighborhood just across the bridge from all of the action in the Historic District and less than 10 minutes from the beach, so you get the best of both worlds. There are restaurants and bars in easy walking distance, as well.

It's an older property that has been revamped, which we really appreciate. It's probably not a good fit for somebody who requires modern luxury.

The rooms were cute, refurbished 'old florida' style and very comfortable.

The keyless entry did not work, so I had to call support and get a key from a lock box. Sounds like that's a common issue, having to download an extra app was kind of silly too. Seems like they should stick with the lock box and real humans for check in.

I loved the location! The check in was very easy, I like that it’s digital and you can just walk right into your room. The pink theme was very cute and the “Florida Room” was great! There was complimentary coffee which was actually very good and maps of the area.

The only complaint I have is my sleep was not great.. the bed was very comfy however there were no curtains so the lighting outside made our room very bright while trying to sleep and I could hear every car that drove by.

It was wonderful staying at this newly renovated motel that was built in the 60s or 50s. Sure , it did bring back bittersweet memories of good ol’ days back then. Beautiful and streamlined throughout the property. No front desk like most hotels do have but they provide check in via an app. Cool and they are also willing to give you a hard card if needed. Quaint stay indeed and I would recommend anyone to stay here. Great communication via text. Once again, thank you for such a superb stay.

Location ok near Alligator farm

The check in and check out procedures using the vide ap did not work. Could not open door. Had to have someone come to open door. Checkout ap wanted me to pay again after I already had a receipt that I paid. Had to make phone call and wait and extra 10 minutes. You NEEDto have a staff person at the front desk at all times!!!

Location for me,excellent plenty of great restaurant options available by foot,drive or Uber The App on the phone, genius I did not see a person at all in the 2 nights Pool amazing To go Cappuccino machine, amazing just come and go as I please on my schedule

It can get noisy at night No fault of the hotel, they offer ear plugs Not a deal breaker considering If your a light sleeper still not a deal breaker and I’m a tough critic
