The owner was a super nice guy, friendly and approachable. The location was close enough where we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. The water pressure was good, and the room was super clean.

The ONLY thing we didn't like was the air conditioner. It couldn't be helped, though. Placement of the air conditioner blew it right at the bed, which kept us comfortable, but it was SUPER LOUD. Between activities and as we wound down to go to sleep, we couldn't hear the TV. Excellent for white noise while sleeping, but made hanging out in the room difficult without turning off the ac.

Hotel location was great and room location and parking were great. Very clean and the rooms seemed to have been recently remodeled.

Well, we were there for a wedding and I couildn't find a plug in the bathroom to use to curl my hair. So, I had to use the plug on the night table by the bed and the mirror was across the room. Not very convenient. The next morning I did realize that the hair dryer plugged into a plug on top of the mirror above the sink, but you can't see it and wouldn't know it other than by accident. It needs to be marked. The body wash and shampoo containers in the shower did not work properly, Not happy with the price in comparion to local hotels in the same area.

Very clean, simple old school motor inn type motel, walking distance over the bridge to the city center tourist sights & activities. Provided everything we needed for a night stay in St Augustine. Owners and staff were very friendly.

Unfortunately there was a problem with the tv reception. After a long day walking around town, just wanted to relax for an hr watching the tube before bed, but there were no channels. The owner came over and tried to get it working but couldn't. Not a big deal, but a bit annoying.

We liked so many things about Budget Inn. We go to St Augustine a few times a year and try to find a great deal. Sometimes you get a wonderful surprise. Budget Inn is just that. The location was great. Located on the other side of the bridge it is less congested but only a 10 minute walk to downtown St Augustine. We were able to park our car and walk everywhere we went.!!There's lots to do in the area. Located about a mile away is the famous lighthouse and alligator farm. Don't let the look of an older motel fool you. The rooms are ùpdated and super nice with comfy beds and working amenities. We were most impressed by how clean everything is, including the parking lot. Don't hesitate to book here. The owners are lovely and very accommodating and will go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience.

Everything about this place was good. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and professional. The room was exactly as posted online. Clean, comfortable, and the best part is the location. It's 2 to 3 min drive from the historic area and right off the opposite side from the lions bridge. Several restaurants are near this location, so overall, it's been one of the best hotels I've stayed at while in Saint Augustine. You can't beat this affordable price and be so close to the historic area. I recommend this hotel.

There wasn't anything I did not like about this location.

The desk person was friendly at check-in and check-out. The staff was helpful and provided linens and necessities as requested. There are no frills. What once was a pool has been converted into a small covered area with swings and seating -- good for people watching. Good option if you want a basic room with fridge, microwave and TV and do not want to pay for "extras" like spas and breakfast you might not take advantage of.

It's a little hard to access from Lion Bridge approach, but once familiar with the road layout, it's navigable. We had a no smoking room but other guests smoked outside their room next door. Be nice to keep smoking away from room entrances as well.

The motel is situated just across the bridge of lions from the town centre. It was a very easy walk across the bridge into the centre and was close to a couple of local bars (the Candlelight South across the road is highly recommended). There were also some restaurants within walking distance if you headed away from the centre, although we didn't try any of these. The motel was very quiet even though it appeared to be fully booked. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was also very good. If we return to the area we would definitely stay here again

Minor detail and not really a negative - There wasn't a parking space directly outside the room as we were at the end of the row. Most other rooms did have parking outside, it wasn't a problem as we just took one of the other spaces, but not being from the US we weren't sure if this was the done thing (no one complained we just felt guilty)

This hotel was in the perfect location! Right at the end of Lion Bridge. Walking distance to everything...shops, fort, lighthouse, restaurants, etc. Free parking! Cold AC and a big shower with great water pressure. Microwave and fridge in the room. We stayed here one night...just what we needed. Staff was super friendly....gave us restaurant recommendations that didn't disappoint (Candlelight South restaurant across the boulevard was fantastic!).

Check In and Out was quick. Room was clean and everything in working order. Shower stayed hot and consistent (which is super important after a long day in the sun). Bed was comfortable, linens were clean and soft. Mr. Patel was very friendly and accommodating, even though I made a mistake while booking, he fixed the issues without any upcharges. Was a pleasant stay. Everything in the historic district is within walking distance. Will definitely stay here again!

The bar next door had an event going on and their guests were rude and disrespectful. Nothing that could have been done or prevented, but that was the only negative about the entire stay

Clean updated. Great price and value. I was sure at the price I paid it wouldn't be great. But let me tell you, I've paid way more for garbage accommodations. This place was updated, clean and the staff was very pleasant. They take pride in their little motel!!

Not really a complaint but more an understanding. The window A/C units are old and loud. But the background noise did help me sleep Lolol
