We had a great experience with the hotel but I did watch the two ladies that were monitoring breakfast make a not so called for comment to 2 ladies regarding the coffee and then she sat the open coffee container on the counter and told them since you are being impatient here take this and they were trying to figure out how to use and couldn't close it so I helped them.

I cannot exaggerate, this is truely a gem in the rocks. Friendly staff, gorgeous rooms, and great location. I loved this place. And for the price your paying, I would certainly recommend staying here. TYRP was not what I was expecting, and I'm glad I made the choice to stay here. Their breakfast was decent, but with the inclusion of a bar for the adults and a restaurant for the family, this place seems to have it all. And if you don't want to pay for the hotel food, there are many options for other places just down the street. And it's tucked away from the highway, meaning no noise whatsoever. It was perfect night's rest.

Close to interstate, comfortable beds, shower was good. Breakfast was typical hotel fare. They allow dogs. Our rooms on the second floor were modern and clean. Nice

For some reason my room felt very humid even with the air conditioning.

Breakfast was good. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. Shower was nice and hot.

The room smelled like mildew/mold very strongly. I couldn’t hardly even stay in the room

The lobby was lovely and nicely decorated, gave a positive vibe.

As we walked down the hallway to our room, we could smell mildew. It was as if the carpets had been recently cleaned but too much water was left behind. Fortunately the smell was gone the next morning. The breakfast was standard and acceptable, but the waffle maker was sticking. We looked for a hostess but could not find one. Eventually she came out, and when asked if there was any cooking spray for the waffle maker, she said she wasn’t sure and would look. A minute or so later she came out with a spray. At least the rest of the diners would not suffer our same consequences.

Bed was comfortable, shower was nice, staff was very friendly, lobby was spacious with plenty of seating, books, magazines, games and a work station. Dog friendly.

Carpet needed to be cleaned, the layout of the room could have been better. Not a lot of space between the bed and desk to walk by, especially if someone was at the desk working. Only 1 luggage cart was available when we checked in and was missing upon check out, so 3 trips back and forth, we were finally able to load up and leave. I did not see a designated dog area for our dogs.

The staff were helpful. The breakfast was great. The bed super comfortable. And the small room made it cozy.

Some areas were not too clean the hall rugs have large stains all over. The bathroom in my room has mildew around the shower handle and the hinges of the shower door. I thought my room would have had a small fridge and microwave but it did not. The ice machine by the second day was not providing ice. The air conditioner was on 69 yet it was too hot. I did not change it because I did not want the system to have an issue.

My mom and I were traveling and I happened to get pretty sick with a cold. Tallahasse was 1/2 way to home and I decided that I would need to stop. TRYP was the first ADA accessible (my mom has need) room that popped up. The price was within our budget and so I booked. BOY were we blown away! From the friendliness of the staff, to the cleanliness of the rooms, lobby and other areas, it was a great stay. We only stayed 1 night, but we will definitely stay there again if we have a need to stay in Tallahassee in the future.

The kitchen attendant, Melanie. Was very good. (There were a family with lots of inquisitive children and she knew just when to be helpful). Also she had the cleanest waffle station I have ever seen in a hotel breakfast space. As we checked in, Ian was able to answer all my questions about Tallahassee (that I did not know I would have, just suddenly was curious).

The shower in the ADA room needs caulking. The spigot in the sink has one velocity and to get a little warm water you have to allow it to come out full force. Stupid design. The interior of that barn door glass had visible markings indicating it only gets cleaned when half open half closed.

Very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Accommodations were wonderful. We stayed in a suite with a king bed and bunk beds. All of the beds were very comfortable. I was surprised at how comfortable the bunk beds were. I would definitely choose this hotel again.

Location. Not easy to get into from the main road. No pool.
