My friend and I booked this room for a "girls getaway weekend" and it didn't disappoint! The views from the room balcony were beautiful, the beds were comfy, the room was very clean and tidy and had all the little things that my friend and I loved.... soap, shampoo/conditioner, make-up remover wipes, etc. We especially loved that there was a larger mini fridge in the room. The property was beautiful and peaceful which was exactly what we were looking for. We also booked a massage at the spa on the property and spent a few hours leading to our massage in the spa and enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. The spa staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, the view from the indoor pool is amazing and there is a deck outside where you could enjoy the views and sunshine if you want to, the robes..... OMG the robes were comfy enough to make it very difficult to want to get out of them, the massages were amazing and we left feeling very refreshed! We walked into the restaurant/bar area when we first arrived and it's beautiful! We were just arriving and never got to enjoy either unfortunately but I plan on coming back with my husband and we will definitely be trying both out. Location is PERFECT! Tucked away and peaceful but only 6 minutes to the downtown area/shopping/restaurants. This was not my first trip to Clayton GA, but was my first stay at this location and won't be my last.

We really were happy with everything about the room and property BUT if I had to pick anything that could have been a bit better, it would be at the indoor pool at the spa. The pool had one of the drain covers loose on the floor of the pool leaving the hole for the drain exposed when I accidently stepped on the cover (I actually meant to mention it but completely let it slip my mind until now, but I'm sure they would have fixed it immediately). I also hated that the restaurant was closed for a private event on one of the days we were there, but I completely understand why and it wasn't an issue.

My boyfriend and I took a spontaneous trip to Clayton, GA, and Kingwood Resort & Winery exceeded all our expectations. We started our visit at the spa, where I enjoyed a wonderful massage. The spa also offered a full locker room with showers, as well as amenities like a hot tub, indoor pool, and sauna, which we could use throughout our stay. We also played a round of golf on their beautiful course. Our room was a bit dated, but it was clean, comfortable, and had a stunning view. The property itself was beautiful and well-maintained. Most importantly, the staff was exceptional—kind and accommodating. We didn’t encounter a single hiccup during our stay. Although we were only there for a short time, we’re eager to return soon to explore the trails, enjoy the fire pit, and visit the winery. Overall, Kingwood Resort & Winery and the town of Clayton were absolutely charming.

The rooms weee very clean and the indoor pool was a plus unfortunately we did not get to visit the restaurant as they open on Thursday but the receptionist was very helpful in giving us a pamphlet with nearby restaurants and they were only 6 or so minutes away. The view from the balcony was outstanding! It was very peaceful and I will absolutely be going back by this summer!

The room was really quiet and comfortable the lighting is not bright but you have a glass door that pretty much goes across the whole wall going out to a balcony (every room has one ) all you have to do if you want light is open the curtains. The whole property is nice they have a nice indoor pool and hot tub and sauna for both men and women it's really nice and clean .the outdoor pool is nice also towels are provided by the property at each pools for you to use so you don't have to bring yours .

The rooms didn't have a microwave!

Staff was amazing. Room was comfortable. The views were great. We didn't use the facilities on-site, but they looked well cared for and fun! Golf course was beautiful and those that played enjoyed their time!

If you are traveling with a large party on a Sunday and want breakfast from the on-site restaurant, you may want to let them know in advance! The meal was good but the wait was a bit long!

The location is beautiful and the view from our room was lovely; the outdoor pool was great with a large deep end and towels were provided at the pool. Breakfast was included and had a variety of foods and fresh fruit; the dark roast coffee was delicious. We enjoyed a hike in the property to see a waterfall. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Easy drive into Clayton.

The property is dated and could use a refresh but everything was clean and in good working order.

Loved the view and location to where I was going. Absolutely beautiful "backyard" scenery The room was nice sized, beds were actually comfortable.

When I checked in I was told "very quickly" we have...... but the reason I choice this location was for the opportunity of the winery and its restaurant/bar. None of that was mentioned to me. I did not get to experience one single amenity that sold me to this location.

I enjoyed having a balcony off our room. Which every room has. It was nice to be able to enjoy the outdoors and view, with a comfortable seating area instantly.

It’s not that I didn’t like it, but I wish I had known in advance that none of the rooms have a microwave. But there is one up in the main office during business hours.

Really nice spa with hot tub, steam room, and sauna. Julie the owner of the spa was very friendly and accommodating. Stacy in the bar was very friendly and let us taste/try different wines. We bought a bottle. Ask for Mike Nasser, he is the GM and will ensure you have a pleasant stay and experience. The golf course is beautiful.

Not that I didn't like the facilities. Just kinda dated but everything was very clean and maintained.
