We were fortunate to meet Lynn, who manages the property and runs it like her own. She had been exceptionally responsive and accommodating before we met her, but she was a true delight in person. The accommodations were an experience in themselves. We traveled with friends and stayed in Cowboy Wisdom and Big Whiskey. We LOVED both rooms. I have never experienced a motel that had so much personality. The themed rooms were just fun. Big Whiskey was great for hanging out with our friends over snacks and drinks before bed. Cowboy Wisdom has a roll in shower! That is a big deal for those of us who travel with someone who is wheelchair bound. The rooms were so clean, which is noteworthy given the amount of unique decorations in the rooms. I have nothing but great things to say.

This property has vehicle to door access which is nice! We didn’t have to worry about stairs or parking. The morning of my arrival, I received a text with the access information and that led to us simply showing up when it was time without the wait to physically check in.

I am wildly allergic to dogs and cats and we found quite a bit of dog hair on the [bottom side of the] comforters which transferred to the sheets. Consequently, this did trigger my allergies. Thankfully, I travel with sanitizing supplies and blankets in my truck so I was able to do what I could to offset what I was experiencing with my allergies. Also, while more of a luxury complaint, there were no outlets in proximity of the beds and/or high enough for electronics to be plugged in and sat on the tables. The ones that were, were behind the bed and not able to be accessed without moving the beds which aren’t light.

The room felt new. All walls and ceilings are pine. Furnished like a cabin. Plenty of space and comfortable. The building is an old motel but it works well. Check in was super easy.

Could use some plastic silverware in the kitchen. This is a very minor issue.

The property is nestled amongst the trees, providing a nice location to relax. The fire pit has tables and a swing to relax by the fire and enjoy a couple of drinks. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and visually appealing. The staff was outstanding and even left old towels to use for the dog and to help keep the room clean. Most rooms have a porch with furniture. The owner also owns the bar/restaurant that is located at the top of the hill, and it was also very clean, with delicious food, and a great outside fire pit. We’re booking again for next fall.

The bathroom fan didn’t work, but other than that, it was fantastic.

The staff were very accommodating and the room was clean. Renee is the best, she’s such a sweetheart! They also have netflix and prime video for you to enjoy. If you’re visiting helen, this is the perfect place to stay.

The power went off for a few minutes because of a bad storm but they immediately took action.

The location is perfect, close to several towns and attractions. Our room was perfect, big enough for us and our two kids, very comfortable and clean and the owner was so nice and accommodating.

It was the cutest place ever, especially for the price. It was very spacious, clean, comfortable. Definitely will be back.

The walls were surprisingly thin, could hear conversations in the next room and parking lot.

The staff were outstanding & the sports bar on site was a plus,food was delicious too.The rooms are beautifully decorated.Only a few miles to Helen,GA. Very calm & quiet place for couples to relax.We will return.

Close to Helen but not in all the traffic of Helen. Great area restaurant close by and food was good.

Didnt like the Roku TV. If your not familiar with Roku it was very frustrating to operate. Would have liked maybe a cornhole set or even more seating on the beautiful lawn outback of motel.

Friendly owners, nice room/bed. Good restaurant on site.

Couch not comfortable (sinks a lot when you sit on it) Coffee maker wonky (made a cup of coffee only 1/4 full), not enough cream, nothing to stir coffee. No reply to email sent after 2 days, phone call went to vc mail which was full :(
