The place was slightly hard to find but was very clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we got to the room, we discovered the tv wouldn't work. I notified Jinesh, the clerk who checked us in, and he immediately came and tried to resolve the issue. When he couldn't, he immediately switched our room. No sooner than we had moved rooms, Jinesh came to see how we were doing. When he discovered that someone had changed the language on the TV, he worked tirelessly to get it changed back! A clerk that works that hard to make customers happy is really rare! Good on you Jinesh!

The hotel was clean, so that's the most important thing to me. The breakfast was basic, but it was enough. However, I would have preferred that it started earlier than 0700, and the fresh coffee came out NLT than 0600. The staff was great. All in all, the hotel was a good choice for a family on a budget.

It was a nice place to stay at a really good rate. We had no problems with anything. It was clean and comfortable. Also, the water park was right across the street. It was closed in Oct, but it was right there. There is a beautiful stream that is a short walk, as well.

We would've liked to have been closer to the main strip in Helen, but parking in town isn't expensive. You can park there all day until midnight for $10 and even get in your vehicle to go somewhere else, and come back to the parking lot while use the same parking receipt.

Our room was close to the pool, which was prime location for us. The only issue I had was there was a really smelly trash can between our room and the pool. Walking by it made my stomach churn.

The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was very clean. The hotel itself felt safe, and I also felt safe walking to and from the hotel, and the room was quiet. The continental breakfast area was a tad small, but the waffle maker was really nice and the waffle I had for breakfast was very good and very filling (my husband also thought so, too), so it was worth it to go down there. Maybe just get there early, or go late to beat the crowd. I asked the front desk for an extra pillow and they brought me one promptly. I would definitely stay here again! I recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a good value hotel in Helen. I stayed in another hotel the last time we went, and although the other hotel was closer, this hotel room was MUCH better and cleaner! It's worth the trek!

The hotel is located on the opposite end of Edelweiss Strasse road from the Festehalle. This was both good, and bad. It was good because the hotel itself was very quiet at night becasue it was away from all the party goers especially for Oktoberfest. The bad (and potentially good if you like walking).... it was a bit of a walk (1 mile each way) to the main strip and Festhalle. My husband and I were able to walk it each day without issue, but if you have mobility issues or cannot walk for any reason, you will need to drive or find some other mode of transportation to get to the "Stuff to do", so please plan accordingly (perhaps plan to rent a golf cart, or bring extra parking money so you can drive places).

How clean the room was. nice and quiet Staff very nice. Cost very good. Would stay here again.

Nothing to dislike

Big rooms, a lot bigger than expected. Very clean all around and looking good after a recent renovation it seems. New large refrigerator, full size, good TV and nice looking room overall.

The bedding was a bit dump, but likely after a lot of rains and possibly low set AC. There is a plastic protector under the mattress cover and it kind of makes the bed sweaty. It was rather firm as well. Could use a few more breakfast options, but at least it has waffle makers.

The property was very clean and comfortable

No smoking on the property, I understand not smoking in the rooms but to not even be able to go outside and smoke on your patio that you paid almost $200 a night for is insane . I also did not enjoy the breakfast. The cereal options should be kid friendly I would have also enjoyed some instant grits and some sort of meat offered with my breakfast . One of my children couldn’t eat anything so we ended up paying for breakfast shock defeats the purpose of the hotel serving . Besides those two things everything was great .
