Our suite was in the rear of the hotel, looking over the Chattahoochee River and a nice family park. My wife and I truly enjoyed the scenic view from there, along with the aesthetics of the buildings in the area.

The "continental breakfast" was minimal at best. A 2-pack of Jimmy Dean frozen sausage biscuits that we microwaved wasn't even close to what we expected for a breakfast for a hotel that looked that nice from the outside. My wife, the coffee drinker, couldn't even drink the coffee that was being offered. Even the milk for the cereal was warm. The Huddle House down the road ended up being our breakfast location during our stay.

I really expected more for the price of the room. The breakfast was very scant. Could have done that well at a convenience store!

The floor in Room 224 had not been vacuumed in a long time! There were good sized pieces of debris and hair and fuzz and bits of paper everywhere. We picked up quite a bit by hand. And the toilet tissue roller was missing! Seriously? You can buy replacements at Walmart. And one roll of TP for two people for 3 days and nights is pretty ridiculous. As well as one tiny bar of soap for the same. The carpet felt damp our entire stay. Oh… and check the batteries in the TV remote.

The location was perfect for the Riverside Park Christmas lighting and restaurants. Nice walk to downtown Helen. Room had a balcony overlooking the park and really enjoyed the fireplace. It's definitely a great location!

They are very strict on check-in time being at 4 pm. The room was ok, but it definitely needs an update, we picked up some trash on the tray by tv. The hide a bed couch was in very bad shape and not accessible to use! The breakfast lacking.

The location was good. Bed was comfy. Room was clean. Staff was friendly.

First night had to go get toilet paper. Ok only 2 wash cloths. Coffee maker was a joke, to a coffee holic that's a big deal. Over flowed 2 times. A mess to clean up. No napkins or paper towels in the room. Had to use one of the hand towels. Only 1 trash can in the room. No extra bags for it. Second time we have stayed in a Baymont. But definitely the last time.

We were greeted as we entered the lobby by a young lady who knew my name. That was impressive! She was friendly and knowledgeable, giving us suggestions on restaurants. The room Was large and clean.

The exterior of the building needs a little TLC. There is paint peeling and plaster coming off in areas. It was not anything that would keep me from visiting this property again.

The staff was nice and welcoming, the room was spacious and comfortable, had lots of channels on the tv to pick from, the air conditioner worked perfectly, and the location was perfect for us with a playground right across the street and easy swim access to the river right across the street as well. It was in walking distance of downtown but not to close so it’s still relatively quiet. Gas station across the street in front of the motel. A great restaurant (Big Daddy’s) next door that had very nice live music.

The door frame to our room was very clearly damaged as if someone had broken in for whatever reason so that was a little uncomfortable that it was damaged. Also pictures on the booking site showed a waffle maker in the breakfast area but we were very disappointed when that was not there at breakfast time. The breakfast was really lacking.

The room was comfortable the jetted tub was great the staff was friendly the coffee was good I would stay again but I'd wanna see my room before I stayed

The mold around the shower, the mirrors around the tub was not clean, the bed spread smelled like spoiled milk and the pool was not even open

Location was great and the price was reasonable.

We couldn’t control the temperature in the room because the knobs were missing from the window unit. The bathroom shower was gross/ dirty, missing fixtures, the hairdryer barely stayed on the wall.

we enjoyed the stay. But the check in wasn't so good. we paid online for the room but when we come in to get our key, the computer wasn't registering the payment right and a manager had to be called. when i got my credit card statement, i was charged the discounted online price PLUS the original price. when i called to get it corrected i was told it was credited back, but instead it was charged twice! as of yet it has not been resolved.

the hotel is in major need of updating,carpeting,beds, furniture especially for the higher cost rooms w balconies I expected more and I have stayed at this location for more than 5yrs of visits.
