The balcony was nice and the restaurant next door (same name but no longer directly affiliated with the hotel) has some of the best food in town and there was a beer garten with some great live music and some of my favorite german beers on tap. We also came with a trailer and motorcycles and the staff was great about having a place where we could park and unload the bikes. Definitely made for an exceptional weekend!

The room was decent, not exceptional but definitely met expectations. Could have been a little cleaner (specifically the spa tub hairs, old soap etc) but it wasn't anything a quick wipe down couldn't fix.

The main reason to stay is location and a good rest. The king size bed was exceptionally comfortable. Everything I needed was there an adequate and the price was the best in the area. The location is prime.

I think it’s unfair that some of the comments when I was researching where to stay said bad things about this hotel when you get such a great price for the location it’s half the cost of any other hotel in the area. My room was exactly what I expected. There have been many upgrades just recent to it, which was actually surprising to me.

We planned a last minute Saturday night stay because our family met in town for Thanksgiving. We picked the king room with spa. We were very pleased with the room. It was newly updated with a new large screen TV, brand new laminate wood flooring and new furniture. The hotel is one of Helen's original older hotels, but that makes the location perfect and just steps away from everything. We will definitely stay again.

The room could have had one more corner lamp or some other lighting source. It was dark on the side of the room close to the balcony.

Location of the hotel, front desk clerks were very nice, accessibility was great. Wonderful view of the water, room was warm and the hot water was great. Overall my stay was what I was looking for

The rooms did not have a do not distrub sign. So they came into my room when I didn't need them to and they cleaned my room the day of my departure before I had checked out

I liked the spa tub in the room. It was very quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. I loved that I could walk to all the places I waned to go to.

The internet was spotty but that is not anyones fault, I was supposed to have a room looking over the river which is why I booked this hotel but when I get there, that is not what I got and there was no other room to trade with. But, it was still worth it.

Most of all the woman at the front desk truly made my nye happen. I initially booked through priceline and upon arrival realized the room wasn't near the location I was hoping for. Considering I was traveling by myself, the lady (I wish I could remember her name) made an adjustment to my accommodations placing me facing the river and freeing up the extra bed for a larger number or trailers. I was beyond thrilled when I looked out the window and saw the Chattahoochee river flowing by.

Ease of use and comfortable. Great location. Great breakfast. Very convenient for my trip and locations I needed to be in. Manager was very helpful with getting me information on my travels.

Door keys didn’t work but manager helped out to get problem rectified. One room was a little bit smoky or smell lingered but it’s ok as I was there for a short time.

The room is really basic but if your going to Helen, your only using the room for sleep anyway your not staying in the room the entire time unless your sick. The reason for the location we picked was to not have to drive through the town. The room has a fireplace a bathroom with shower and two beds.

The only thing better is a new coat of paint on the walls but really it’s nothing. Older place will always look like it needs a remodel. We didn’t stay here to stay in the room the entire time.

Staff are great people, large sized room, and definitely got money's worth. Being able to have the back door in the room to the area with tables and grills right off the river was awesome. The hotel is a little older so the room slightly smelled of cigarettes still but so much effort is being made to fix everything and the owners are so nice that it honestly didn't affect us at all.

Great location, you don't have to drive, you can walk every where. Pet friendly

Our room was very small. I know that hotel rooms are not big, but the room has so many things that it is difficult to walk. I am not sure if all rooms are the same. In the pictures look different, so I guess that other rooms are more spacious.
