The bed was extremely comfortable!!! ❤️❤️❤️. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. I loved that you had two sets of bathroom linens, it was just enough for our two night stay. We will definitely be back and staying with you again in the future. Also, we have several friends that visit Helen GA, and your facility will be highly recommended to them.

Very convenient, we could walk everywhere and it was right next to the river. It was much nicer than expected.

I don’t have anything bad to say about the motel and our stay. I will say that the woman who checked us in was very rude. She was on the phone and didn’t bother to acknowledge me at all. When she finally got off of the phone, she again neglected to even acknowledge. I was there and another phone line rang and she picked it up and answered it only to remark how rude it was that the person on the other hung up on her. She then looked at me and said “yes?”. The woman who later replaced her was very helpful and very sweet.

Laurie was rude! Banging on the door at 11:00 am saying we are to leave, check out is 11. But we paid when we arrived for 2 nights! Tried to tell her that but she made us feel like we were lying. When she found out we were right not even a sorry.

Was a great location.

The internet was bad. The tv was buffering a lot while watching. Need better internet service. This will determine if I stay in the future.

The location was great for walking all over town, and just far enough off the main road to not be right in the middle of everything. It was a very quaint looking building. The outside is showing its age just a little, but the rooms have been updated and were very nice, and clean. There’s no elevator so getting luggage up the flights of stairs is not real easy, but we made it. I didn’t get her name, but the young lady at check in was very nice. The parking pass is good until midnight the day you check out, so if you still have things you want to do you do y have to go somewhere else and pay for parking, that’s very nice!

Great customer service! The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower pressure was good and had hot water. Plenty of towels. It was very hot the day we were there.The air conditioning worked great! Plus there is a ceiling fan which was nice. The hotel is by the river. There are swings, bench’s, and picnic table and even bbq grill. There is a large grassy area for your dog to play. Nice tv and the internet worked great. Nice that they work on keeping the area up. One of the staff watered the flowers then looked like he was busy working on fixing swings. The breakfast was mainly sweet stuff, but ok. The hotel is very close and walkable to the main street.

Location!!! Right on the river and easy walking distance to main street/downtown area, shops, restaurants, and attractions. Adequate parking available, can see your vehicle from any room. Felt very safe the entire stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Older facility (but decently maintained). Breakfast selection was minimal grab and go (but was available free of charge), not a hot breakfast. Bath wash was extremely low and not refilled, but at the same time I did not point it out to housekeeping or front desk - had I done so I am certain it would have been promptly rectified.

I absolutely love the rooms. They are very modern and up-to-date. It was right by the river, so it was perfect. The property is cute and quaint. There weren’t very much noise from the customers.

So my husband had written in their request that it was my birthday we don’t want any special, but he thought at least I would be surprised if the front desk clerk just wish me happy birthday, which was not even acknowledge which is not even the problem. It’s OK but why put a request if you’re not gonna read it and then the morning desk clerk was just so rude. I don’t know what her problem was. She’s the only thing that set me off about our stay.

Perfect location. It’s in walking distance to everything, but secluded and quiet. Beautiful view of the river and dog friendly. The rooms were nice, clean and had everything we needed. The staff were absolutely amazing. We had to cut our first trip short due to a death in the family, and when we checked out, the sweet lady at the front desk asked me if I needed a hug. And I did, so I gladly accepted. So glad I got to see her again and thank her. I will definitely recommend River Bend to anyone I know that’s planning a trip to the beautiful Helen, GA.

The room was clean and you can tell it’s been updated for sure.

The only bad thing I can say has nothing to do with the hotel itself, but Helen Georgia is kind of a dump, stores and restaurants are outdated and over priced. All the food in the town was absolutely disgusting and that includes all restaurants. We went outside of the town to hike and enjoy the outdoors but Helen will definitely be a one and done visit. This hotel was worth the price and it was very clean, but I’d advise if you wanna see the town then take 30 mins walks around and leave lol
