It s a classic American motel - simple and conveniently located. Very clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable too! The host/ owner was very responsive and polite by email and also very accommodating if I was to have any questions or needs. I also like the fact the motel is surrendered by huge oak trees covered with Spanish moss it already set the stage : a real feel of Savannah GA ! It was real. Honest. If you detest like I do modern and boring hotels with no true feeling of the region you are visiting you will adore this motel.

A coffee machine or kettle to make tea of coffee would be a plus with two mugs something like that .. I think that is missing .

Cute as a button and clean as a whistle. It harkens back to the old days of traveling that I remember as a kid. However this property has been purchased by OYO and the improvements are amazing...especially the Japanese style shower with scalding hot water. Such a value. I can't recommend it enough for an economy traveler.

No in room coffee....boo! But hey..McDonalds is 3 minutes away...

Very nice room that seemed newly remodeled.

Very spartan accommodations. Two towels and two washcloths were waiting on the bed. The room had the bed, one chair, and the dresser that the TV was on. The bathroom has a nice big shower and a sloped floor to help the water drain away. There were no towel racks or toilet paper holders. Once someone used the shower, the whole bathroom floor was wet.

I enjoyed the location away from the hubbub of downtown Savannah where things were rowdy at night. Modest accommodations that I grew to enjoy the more it became my hub from which I ventured out for sites downtown and elsewhere. A simple thing like having coffee and walking out onto the big lawn was a nice soothing way to start the day. And with a few cats on the grounds, it was quickly familiar. Also, essentials worked as needed: shower, a/c (w/thermostat), fridge.

Some areas were showing wear & tear, furniture could have been better chosen/layed out for the space, ceramic toilet could have fitted more securely, and a/c hum took getting used to at first. But I was in one of the pre-remodeled rooms.

The staff was friendly, check in and check out nice and easy. The deposit is reasonable. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable.. I was actually surprised at how nice the bed was. Also, It's a good location... Only one or two freeway entrances from nice restaurants and stuff. Due to this place being pet friendly, I was a little worried noise AND about having problems with my allergies. I had NO problems though. I It was very quiet, and because the room was so clean, I didn't have any allergy problems.

There were some weird smells outside, but that's really it.... Probably because people take their pets around the property and stuff. I was worried the smell would get inside the room, but fortunately it didn't.

This place is SO cute and cozy! It's set away from the center of town but still close enough to get to activities quickly. The rooms are simple but decorated very tastefully and the beds are super comfortable! The bathrooms have touch mirrors, and large nicely tiled showers. The TV has plenty to watch and my room had a microwave and fridge/freezer. The ladies at the desk and that cleaned we're true Georgia Peaches 🍑. They made sure I had what I needed and made recommendations as to what I should see and do. They were very kind.

I can't think of one thing I was unhappy with. One thing that I am sad about though is that this place does not look like much from the road (looked like they are working on that) The inside of the rooms and the kindness of the staff make up for it ten fold.

It was incredibly, conveniently located. We were 10 minutes or less away from everything we wanted to visit. The rooms were clean and simple, and that's really all we needed for this trip. The beds were incredibly comfy, so we always got a goodnight's rest.

Bathrooms are a bit small and the shower has no curb or tub, it's just an open floor concept with a drain, so the whole bathroom could essentially get wet. If they offered a bath mat, this might not be so bad. Wasn't the worst thing, just a bit inconvenient I think.

The room itself was updated and clean. The woman at the desk was incredibly professional and kind. The location seems far from everything, but it's actually in great location if you like somewhere a bit quieter. They do have cats on the property that dont bother anyone.

There was no table to lay things/sit things on besides a very small bedside table. The shower was nice, but the open floor plan means that they entire bathroom floor would be wet after a shower. There's a 50.00 deposit that you can get back after they've checked the room that could heed better warning for those who may have a tighter budget.

Just needed a clean,quiet,inexpensive place to rest for the night, this motel met all our needs. The lady in the office was very sweet.

A mini fridge would have been nice. Also, while Savannah is known for its “stairs of death”, we didn’t expect to encounter some at this motel. There’s a short set of concrete steps. Caution! Just walk around them, yikes!

Clean room. Large comfortable room. Nice easy chair and a rolling desk chair. Nice big tv on a very nice desser/stand. Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking right outside your door. Security cameras a plus. Nice floor. Seemed recently remodeled. Could NOT here neighbors. Room design helped for that. . The outside looks inviting. Well taken of property. Would stay again for sure. Bed big and comfy so were the pillows. Ceiling small but once the AC got going our room stayed cold like we wanted.

Just fyi only coffee and tea in the morning. We ok with that just letting others know.
