The interiors were very upscale inside and good stuff around the location!

I love the central location, ease of access to major thoroughfares, customer service, access to my vehicle, and security features. As a single woman, I would highly recommend this hotel. I do not care for historic district as it is too lively and this hotel is quiet. I have stayed at several hotels in Savannah, and this one by far, made me feel the safest. There is key access right off the parking garage levels, so it's easy to exit your vehicle and go directly to your room. Love the facilities and dining areas. Gym is great also.

Need to improve breakfast offerings. Did not care for "western" omelet, no yogurt or cream cheese available. Oranges and strawberries concoction was only fruits available

Location was excellent! A short, direct drive into Savannah. Able to park in garage on same level as room (as others have mentioned, it is pretty tight). Currently being renovating. Our floor had already been renovated and the room was wonderfully done. The one thing that I would change is the location of the body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. They need to be moved to the back wall so they are not constantly hitting you in the arms while showering (they’re pretty sharp) and awkward to access. A shuttle into Savannah would also be beneficial. Lots of hotels in the area, so I am surprised a shuttle isn’t already available (possible business opportunity). I’d definitely stay here again!

Breakfast was great, the young lady kept it clean, she was very helpful and she kept things stocked.

From the time I made reservations, I thought I had a clear expectations of my financial responsibilities. Unfortunately, there was clearly a lack of communication about daily parking fee of $12 and $60 incidentals. I was also misinformed when told that my pet fee was non refundable charge of $75. I traveled from North Florida with my dog for the holidays just to find out pets this hotel is not pet friendly. Only service dogs required. Which means I had to find a trustworthy place to board my dog, which was really difficult. Lastly, after check out,I discovered I was double charged (2 different totals). So to sum it , hospitality was great but I’m highly disappointed and upset with the lack of customer service and knowledge from front desk staff.

Was a guest, or stayed at establishment May 24th - May 26th for Memorial Day weekend 2024, and could have not appreciated everyone at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Savannah Midtown! Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and though we did not require any additional services, it was easy to find help if needed! The property seemed very clean, welcoming, and perhaps fairly new or renovated. The breakfast each morning was much appreciated and was nice way to start the day (Thank you to everyone who prepared a wonderful breakfast, as well all the excellent staff to keep everything well supplied and stocked!)... The room was quite comfortable and spacious for the 3 of us staying (possibly enough for 5 or 6 people perhaps? Given a sofa that could be converted into bed / sofa bed)... The room service was always active around hotel, and even left a note on door if required any service or items for room, they could come by at another time, and though we did not need assistance, thank you for the note! ... The parking was much easier than most of city of Savannah, though it was in parking garage, you could access any level of parking from each level of hotel (which made entering hotel, leaving hotel, or loading / unloading vehicle much easier! (Not having to go through lobby each time, as well if weather was not desirable, going straight from vehicle to room)... As well, last thing I can think of, the hotel was in a convenient part of Savannah, not far from downtown and many activities, restaurants, and shopping, but also, not close to worry about excessive traffic... This was my second time staying directly in Savannah (for leisure trip), and depending on plans or activities, or purpose of visit for each person, I found this to be a very positive stay and excellent experience!

Not quite a negative experience, the only thing I did not like was view from hotel room... However, did not spend much time in room (traveling and exploring the city and area). But overall, I had a positive and excellent experience! Thank you!

We loved our room and the fact that breakfast was included. Even with limited options (breakfast) it was better than having to go out for breakfast.

Parking...while I understand the limitations due to the location. Having to pay for parking it would have been nice if the chances for damage to you car (tight space), accidents (limited turn space level to level) and flooding (several cars got stranded) was limited. Better pillows and availability of an additional blanket would be great improvements with minimal cost.

Parking was unique in that you could part in the deck on the floor where you stayed. That allowed for ease of access without walking through the lobby or having to get on the elevator. The hotel was clean and quiet. It was within walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this location when traveling to Savannah it's usually always clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Walking in from the parking garage the smell of weed was overwhelming and this was everytime we came back in. Staff does not seem to be on top of people smoking it in the hotel or parking garage which permiates others cars. The parking it's self is super tight for larger vehicles and maybe they should dedicate some spots for larger vehicles. The weed smell takes off some cleanliness points.

The property was fairly close to Savannah historic district (15-20 minutes) and Tybee Island (25-30 minutes). The bed was comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean. The shower was probably the best hotel shower experience I’ve ever had.

Contrary to other reviews, the parking is not free. There’s a very small, tight parking garage that you pay $12/night for. The breakfast was average. The layout for breakfast was very congested. The eggs were terrible. There was a small variety of prepackaged items.

The location was great. My room was clean and always kept clean. The staff was very friendly.

The parking deck was somewhat small. Vehicles had to wait until the other car could get by. The parking spaces were small. You could barely get in or out of your vehicle due to the vehicles on either side of yours. Definitely a tight squeeze in the parking deck.
