Breakfast was hot and delicious! The woman in the breakfast room was delightful. Room was updated and clean. The hot water in the sink was there as soon as you turned it on. Housekeeping left extra towels the next day. The king bed was very comfy. Pool was cold, but it was just the first week of April.

The only thing we weren't happy with was the lighting. Very dim. Light over the vanity was great.

Size, fridge, microwave. Older building, but in pretty good shape. We stayed on the first floor, not too far from the reception ( Its 2 stories and spread out like a motel, not all in one building if this matters to you) Didn’t use the outdoor pool, but it looked nice enough. Pretty close to the historic district which we liked. The historic district is more expensive to stay in and they also charge extra for parking. So, the only reason to stay there is if you want to walk everywhere and be close to the historic sites. We found it very easy to just drive from our hotel and find paid parking. (10-15 minutes away) Parking is free after 8 pm and Sunday all day in Savannah, the historic squares and homes look cool at night. Breakfast is the typical morning fare. There are places to eat and to get gas close by.

It is beautiful inside and out. It is very clear the staff take pride in their work. The property has been well taken care of and cleanliness is at the top of the list! The food was well prepared and the hostess for the breakfast kept up with food supply and room tidiness so that every unoccupied table was ready for use. The front desk staff were efficient, polite and friendly. Very thorough in explaining the contract. While I did not take advantage of the pool, it was clean and the environment around it was very inviting, dare I say tropical!! I don’t get this way often, but when I do, I will definitely book here again!

Absolute NOTHING

I love the fact that this is an outdated hotel with minimum upgrades but the room and bathroom was really clean for once I didn’t find hair or anything in the shower bed or towel thanks job well done I’m not going to lie I was very specious at first before I checked n I asked the lady at the front desk I said will u stay at this hotel lol she said I don’t know where u been staying but this is a clean hotel and it was I would recommend it for me again!!

I didn’t like the room has a smell but not to bad but that’s cause the carpet is needed to be cleaned but it wasn’t to bad just when u enter the room it hits but I will definitely stay again if needed

The front desk staff was exceptional. She was so detailed, kind and considerate. She recognized us when we accidentally locked ourselves out. Her name was either Tonya or Roberta. I must apologize because I did not get her name. We checked in on the 13th of April, so the property can give credit, where credit is due. We really appreciated her! The property was safe, quiet, clean, and comfortable. Prices in Charleston were extremely high on this evening and so we were thankful for this property. It was rated a 2 star property, however, the the customer reviews rated it highly, as did I. If you need a place to sleep overnight without frills, this is it! It's "old scool" at it's best!

Room was nice, relatively clean. A few cobwebs near ceiling. No big deal though. Room was nice. Bed comfortable. Enjoyed our stay.

Cleaning crew started early, and rolling carts honestly sound like a freight train as they are being moved on the walkways. Really loud especially early in the morning. Maybe carts with better wheels or a later start time would be better.

Very clean.& comfortable. Modern & renovated nicely. Took an Uber to downtown Savannah which wasn’t far and it’s such a great city! Breakfast was also great; lots of options. Us & our two children enjoyed our stay here.

Vending machine was not working properly. Was not a huge deal; my husband walked to a nearby convenience store instead.

The front desk clerks were friendly and had great smiles! A great breakfast bar! Miss Jane and her assistant maintain a very clean and well supplied breakfast bar. She welcomes guests every day. Th housecleaning staff were also very helpful and we love the fact that the hotel has laundry area for guests. We always stay at this location for those reasons as well as convenience to places we visit in Savannah. Finally we love the salt-water pool which is always well maintained.

This place was incredibly clean, through and through. The sidewalks were sparkling.. that was because there was somebody cleaning them when I woke up. The breakfast staffer greeted everyone who entered the breakfast area with a "good Morning, Happy Easter"(It was Easter)... I hate to say that that kind of warm greeting is rare these days.

I was coming down 95 on my way to Florida and this felt out of the way. I reserved a room online and when I showed up at 10pm the lobby door was locked... It took a while for the desk person to hear me knocking.

Room was clean. It had been updated with new bath vanity, rug was newer, nice dorm size refrigerator and microwave. plenty of outlets and usb port were installed also. Every room had a light outside and the grounds were very clean. Breakfast buffet was included each morning. The buffet consisted of scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, sausage, pancakes, bagels, toast, cereal, muffins, donuts, yogurt, fruit and oatmeal. Fresh brewed coffee and juice were also provided. The 2 ladies that operate the buffet breakfast always made sure the food was fresh and replenished. The pool looked like it would be really nice in the summer.

They mattress was okay but could probably be updated soon.
