Most efficient room I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in luxury hotels all over the world! There were plenty of hooks for hanging things in bedroom and bathroom, lots of electrical outlets and charging bases, flat surfaces/benches for our suitcases (4) and shoes, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, clothes rack, and shelves in bathroom. So easy to organize your things when living out of a suitcase for a few days.

They should upgrade to sturdier plasticware for breakfast. I like the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner brand, but it was hard to squeeze out, especially for older people with arthritis.

Location, excellent breakfast.

Did not have a restaurant inside. The evening young girl told us the room was not ready?????We arrived at 5:05 p.m. The check in is 4:00 p.m. Also, I told her we have a small dog and the web advertised a $35.00 fee, and she charged me $75.00. She did not care when I told her your website advertised at $35.00. Then I asked where the area for the dogs is to do their business. Her answer was anywhere on the grassy area. Perhaps more training needed.

I like the outside appearance of the property. I loved the lobby area of it. Everything was aesthetically appealing to the eyes. There was ample parking at the property. I liked the layout of my room as well.

The only thing I didn’t like about the property is not having a microwave in the room. I noticed one was in the lobby area. But it can be an inconvenience to have to go there in the middle of the night just to warm up leftovers.

The rooms were very clean. I was quite impressed. I like they use disposable ice containers, the pancake machine at breakfast is a fun addition and the staff, especially Daniel, was quite helpful and all very friendly and accommodating. We stayed with an ESA (cat) and they have tags for the doors to alert staff not to enter. We really appreciated that.

The location was easy to access and close to everyplace I wanted to go. The breakfast was hot and filling. The room was clean and well maintained. The shower was refreshing. The bed was comfortable. The staff member that checked me in was very friendly and helpful.

The room had thin walls and the other guests were noisy above and beside me.

The rooms are very small, they are comfortable though. I did not like that there was not a coffee maker in the room. Coffee in the lobby is nice but I want t brew a cup as soon as I wake up. A bar behind the hotel was very noisy until after 2 am.

The property sits on a small side street next to a local shopping area. However the area isn’t busy, and is conveniently located next to Abercorn, which is a main road in this part of Savannah. There is plenty of parking and the area is well lit. The hotel is also clean and well designed, and does not give off the impression that it needs an upgrade or remodeling. Miles H., the assistant general manager will go out of his way to make sure that you’re taken care of. He often works the front desk himself, but everyone makes sure that you’re greeted and welcomed when checking in, and every time you return to the hotel after going out.

There are really no major complaints. The AC/Heating units might could use an upgrade, or at least a thorough cleaning, but they work well and function as intended.

We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Always greeting us with a smile and making sure we were enjoying our stay. Rooms include large bottles of body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, & lotion. Not the cheap terrible smelling kind like at most hotels. These products are better compared to herbal essence and all of them smell amazing. The breakfast bar is open till 10am and is ultra kid friendly. Wave your hand by the sensor on the machine and pancakes roll out onto your plate. Of course our kids were so excited to make their own pancakes and then top them with whatever topping they wanted. They offer whip crème, M&Ms, almonds, chocolate chips, cranberries, Etc. They also offer scrambled eggs and various other hot dishes that change each day. I honestly would recommend staying outside of the downtown area as the night crowd in Savannah is not kid friendly and has trashed even the nicest hotels located in the downtown area. Unfortunately, we know first hand. We ended up making a last minute booking with Tru by Hilton which was very easy to do and literally found our new favorite hotel. Tru’s parking lot was huge, free, and well lit. Hotel is not within walking distance of the Historic Downtown area, but it is only a short drive away. The public parking garages located in the historic district cost between $9- $15 for 2-8 hours and are within a short walking distance to the shopping area along the water. Overall Tru by Hilton is a fantastic hotel and I highly recommend you stay here.
