Having stayed before in motels that were higher priced & supposedly "better", we were pleasantly surprised with our room. The building is obviously older than many, but it has been pretty well maintained, and the room was spotless. The bed was nicely firm, with no sagging in the middle. The parking lot was adequate for different types of vehicles and seemed to be well watched over.

Having a mini frig would have been very nice. Since no breakfast is offered by the motel, having some means of keeping cool things like yogurt, etc. would be very helpful.

That motel is definitely a place you can have good rest in the comfy beds, in the spotlessly clean rooms. The overall motel facility is well maintained. It's located near the regional airport but also allows for a peaceful walk along the Snake river and it's a walking 30 mins distance to the nearest Walmart and other shops. This plus a super friendly personnel that want to accommodate to your requests makes is very unique combination of comfort and a reasonable price.

Friendly staff. Very basic offer but hands down, the cleanest room I've stayed in on my 10-day holiday!! Though I didn't have my dog this time, I appreciate Motel 6's pet friendliness.

I arrived at dusk and the location felt sketchy. I was relieved that the staff was friendly and the motel was busy. Not very soundproof. Could hear kids being loud, then an older guy kind of yelling at one point, bed springs creaking (if you know what I mean) in the night, police door knocking to give some unfortunate news at an ungodly hour. Sounded like my door, so i got up, but they were there for the neighbouring room...

The motel was straightforward for the price. The staff were wonderfully friendly and very helpful to me when I had difficulties. They helped me by letting me ship some small packages (one with my lost driver's license) to the motel and keeping them for me at the front desk. I really appreciate these extra steps, it made a big difference for me.

I did not know Motel 6 does not provide shampoo. I wish they did, or at least made it more obvious so I would know to bring some.

A friend and I spent one night in this hotel. It was the cheapest in the area by quite a bite, but still met all our needs. Check-in was quick. The room was fine. We visited this hotel two years earlier and there was no shampoo in the room, you had to purchase it out of a vending machine. This time there was still no shampoo in the room, but when I asked for change at the front desk they provided the shampoo for free. A minor thing, but still seems odd shampoo isn't in the room.

It's almost insignificant, but no shampoo in the room seems odd. Ultimately our stay was short, and there isn't anything I remember that I would change.

The quality for the price was great. I try to avoid motel 6 typically but based off of the reviews it seemed like the better place to stay here. The front desk personnel was amazing when checking in. Very friendly. They do not charge an extra pet fee. The room was clean. Overall it was an excellent place for our quick one night stay.

The walls in the hotel are a little thin. The people above us were pretty noisy but I know this is not the hotels fault for people stomping around in the night.

The check in worker did not inform us about a sofa bed even we were 3 person We complained and she informed that was the only room available so one of us was willing to sleep in the sofa when we figured out was a sofa bed

The room was clean and the property is maintained well. The other guests at the hotel were primarily families that were traveling with pets. The hotel is away from the main streets in Idaho Falls and very quiet. There are two large pieces of grass on the property for dog walking.

My only complaint is that you need to drive a very short distance to get to a store or restaurant. It's a Motel 6, so it's basic, but not a luxury resort.

quiet place to relax after work

The Internet was worse than ever; I couldn’t even open videos on YouTube. I planned to watch movies and relax during the trip in the evening after work, but this Internet is no good

Convenient to hwy but far enough away from traffic noise. Clean room. Loved that we had no charge for a pet to stay there. Front desk was accommodating when asked for ground floor room due to my husband disability. Would definitely stay there again

Room was small but for the price I would stay again
