We were a little nervous after we read some of the reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. They up graded us to a room with a balcony. The room was very clean,comfortable king bed and very friendly staff. The breakfast was a little to be desired although they were in the middle of a kitchen remodel and they were also short staffed. I don’t know how you could give them a bad review.

The kitchen was under construction and there was no indication on the hotel or restaurant websites that the restaurant was closed. Showed great pictures of breakfast menu, so very disappointed that wasn’t the case.

Staff was attentive and friendly. The room was clean and ready with all the expected amenities. The tub and shower were a nice size and the water was perfectly hot with good pressure. We only ate breakfast at the hotel one day during our stay and it was perfect. The riverside view was beautiful and the staff made sure we were well taken care of.

It was snowing during our stay and the sideways were a little slick/icy going out to the parking lot but we just walked very carefully. It would of been nice to have extra blankets in the room since it was so cold out. To be fair, we probably could of requested them from the front desk but didn't since we were so tired when we got back to our room late in the evening.

Location was fantastic, enjoyed the private beach and swimming area. Even though it was chillier than ideal outside, we still enjoyed as much of the beautiful outdoors as we could :) loved that we could bring our doggo with us, it gave a different peace of mind!!! They don't offer in-house boarding or doggy day care, but we used a place near by: CDA Pet Resort. If you have dogs, this was the best doggy day care we could have asked for!

The bar staff in house were not kind or approachable with questions or orders. Ordered a cookie dessert to-go, and they acted as if I had ordered a full pizza. If it is an inconvenience, don't offer it !

They have recently updated the front seating and the check-in area. It looks great!

I recently have had major knee and back surgeries. I noticed the bathtub was extra high to step into and there weren’t any safety grab bars. The toilet in the hotel room and the main bathroom by the restaurant both had exceptionally low toilets. I had difficulty using them and usually I don’t experience this issue at most public places.

The pool in the rooms need a little bit of upgrading… But you can tell they’re making a huge effort with their lobby bar restaurant area. It’s such a beautiful location. There’s so much potential here. All in all, though a great day and everyone here is wonderful.

The flooring and carpet in the rooms aren’t very nice. I had a wobbly floorboard under the carpet in the room I stayed in. Don’t know the last time the carpets have been steam cleaned or changed… look like they’ve been here forever, the furniture is a little outdated too, but a comfortable bed clean bathroom. The pool needs some love and updating as well. The gym was OK. I don’t really use a gym other than to get some walking in on a treadmill. But I do love to swim and the room that the pool in is very outdated. It could be so much nicer. But otherwise everything was great.

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. We had everything we needed. Good location, away from the freeway, but easy to find. We had a riverview room on main floor with a very small balcony to stand out on and enjoy the view. Also had nice large window to look out. No complaints and would stay here again.

On check-in, we were not told about amenities available, such as the on-site restaurant or beach area for hotel guests' use.. I thought it was only a bar until I overheard another conversation. This is my fault as well for not asking what's available.

We love this hotel for its location on the river, for the silence and fresh air and for the delicious brewery nearby.

Unfortunately, during our last visits, the coffee machine in the lobby did not return to work, only coffee in a thermos and its quality is not very good. We are waiting and hoping that the hotel will be able to return the previously familiar service with a working coffee machine

The location was amazing. Room was clean and quiet. But most importantly, the staff are friendly and honest. My son left his wallet in the room and they contacted us and are mailing the wallet back to us… with all the cash inside. I don’t feel like you find many honest people like this. (They contacted us before we even realized it wasn’t with us.)

Honestly, the pillows were tiny. We did talk to the front desk guy and he gave us another one and was very apologetic. The pillows were the absolute only complaint.

The girls loved the pool. we were warned when we got there, that it may be over crowded because of the amount of young ladies were at the Hotel that night, but surprisingly, it was not. The colors and the ambience was relaxing, and comfortable.

The room, seemed clean enough, but the Doors to the Balcony were definitely dated. I got locked out side on the balcony, when I stepped outside, which I was grateful I had someone else in the room. I was not overly impressed at how SLOWLY the main doors to the room closed, it can be a safety issue with just women in the room. FYI Breakfast is not Continental, you do have to pay for the Breakfast. But the staff was super helpful, and wonderful!

We called the hotel hours before check in after the hospital released me. I felt so unwell and just wanted a bed. The staff bent over backwards to help us. We checked before noon at no extra cost. They checked in on me to see how I was going. They were honestly amazing. I couldn’t wish for better or ask for more.

The room was slightly tired but it wasn’t a dislike at all. It suited us perfectly. I think it’s in the middle of a renovation. Don’t let that put you off.
