The location was close to shopping & restaurants, just a short Uber ride! The price was very good for the room and the beds/pillows were very comfortable. The staff put us on the 3rd floor since baseball kids & families would be staying on the first two floors.

Very slow elevator. No bottled water in the room. One of the desk attendents didn’t seem dressed appropriately.

There isn’t any breakfast at a Candlewood. We were in town to go to Carle Hospitak

We don’t like the furniture configeration in the double queen room. You have to move very heavy recliner to watch tv or lay in bed. No place to put a beverage by the recliner.

location quiet safe adequate parking Full kitchenette with convenience like ice maker and dishwasher 😃 Clerk and staff was always nice and helpful. Did not mind at all helping me with my problem in my room of needing clean linens. Easy exchanging and getting new towels.

housekeeping missed placing CLEAN bed linens during cleaning of room. Clerk was always nice and accommodating. I just went down or called and asked for a change of bed linens and they brought them too me. Not a hassle getting clean towels and linens if needed. (That part is good.) Con: I don’t think the internet service is very secure. Not as safe so use caution with that. Last night there I came back from work and found a big stink bug on my pillow. No idea how it got there but it definitely lived up to its name.

Room was new and it was equipped as a handicapped room. It was very clean.

As a handicap room I think they should have a shower not a tub. Even with the assist bars they have it would still be difficult to get in and out. Also for safety a night light would be helpful. Also there was no breakfast.

Nice, clean, and very comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to stay at a good hotel without paying high prices

Quiet, comfortable beds, nicely appointed kitchenette, an extremely friendly person at the front desk (it was evening)

The hotel was way overpriced, due to commencement at the University of Illinois - every hotel in the area does take advantage of that, not just them

Loved that they allowed pets.
