Loved this place. It was a massive building and they had so much going on when we checked in on Friday, but you couldn't tell. I smoke so as I ran in an outside throughout the night I would see all these people dressed up for a party and stuff. It was going on in their ball room and as guests we couldn't even tell. There is a CVS across the way if needed, it's right next to Millennium park which is cool, and a block or so from the river walk. Of course there's a literal ton of food, drink, essentials, and stuff to do with in minutes of here. The door man was awesome and really made the place what it is. I can't remember his name (I wanna say Benson) but you would know who I mean if you ever stay there. He runs a tight ship and is super thoughtful and on it. He made sure you were happy and if you needed anything. He asked if you had everything when getting out of a car, just because. We would certainly stay here again.

That our door dash and deliveries are left on a table at the front desk, were anyone could grab them. We understand because of the sheer size of this place but we need a follow up call from someone to make sure we know it is there. The other issue is most amenities are cashless. They should take any form of payment as required by law. One other real issue is the incense smell in the front lobby. It hurt my husband bad because scents do that to him, generally. But this even got to me, too perfumed. The elevator moved so fast to the 26th floor I would get dizzy, so watch for that. It was a lightening fast elevator. The other issue is the walk to the elevators cuts down to an almost single walking lane to get to. So it gets congested. Not bad just busy.

We stayed at a Fairmont Gold suite. The newly renovated rooms are very pretty and feel luxurious. We requested a Christmas tree in our room before our arrival. The tree was a little bit smaller than imagined but it was so pretty. And the communication/service to arrange this request was sublime. The staff was wonderful and exceptional friendly. We loved our stay and when returning to Chicago, we will choose this accommodation again.

The room was a little bit chilly and the temperature was lower than what the thermostat mentioned. Just a small detail.

Beautiful hotel and great location. I was in the 14 Floor and it looks great and well upgraded. We had a dinner the the toro restaurant and service and the food was amazing

We paid almost 2200$ for three nights which is expensive. And when I did the checking out I got surprised there is too much extra fees like resort fees and … and the most thing was the parking fees 86& each night. Was too expensive

Missed having a dining room on site but appreciated being able to grab coffee and a light breakfast in the lobby. The room we got was perfect! I had requested one away from the elevators and with a view. We got a corner room with three windows, yeah!

There were a few things happening in the room that were an issue. One the shower control knob fell off. Second the refrigerator in the room made a lot of noise. We were able to get the knob back on and unplugged the refrigerator.

Nice property but beware of hidden fees and charges

After booking on booking.com and having all taxes and fees included I was then surprised to find a charge for “Urban Experience fee”. I’ve never heard of such a thing — what the heck is an urban experience fee! I didn’t ask for any such experience, other than the fact that the hotel is in an urban area. Next up will be rural experience fee or river experience fee or air experience fee??

Great staff and Benjamin was very helpful with information such as making sure that we had all of our belongings before our Uber or Left driver left. Or having us check the license plate before we enter in our Uber or Left rides. Room was amazing with great views, staff was super helpful with checking us in and gave us great information!

Nothing everything was great I think I wish I know that we could have microwave and refrigerator in our room from the start but my wife and I didn’t need it as much.

I loved the property’s location, amenities, and staff. We had a staff member who would stop by our room and take care of everything. She was great I forgot her name but she works on Floor 6 mostly and was very helpful and kind.

Wish there was a pool

Location to the parks and attractions.

Was charged for an item from the room that I did not eat (m & m's for over $20!). Disputed it at check out and was told it would be taken off my bill....but discovered later that it had not! That was disappointing....

I love this hotel and all of the amenities at the hotel. I have come every year to see the entertainment there. I also come during the winter holidays to stay there. I love how beautiful it looks.

Well I did not see a lot of security there at night. That looked a little scary.

Room and view were awesome. Quietest room I've ever had - never heard another door close or neighboring room's conversation. Beds were extremely comfortable and we all slept very well. View on the 30th floor towards the water was beautiful. Perfect walking location to starting line of the Chicago Marathon. Food and drink selection was really good at the hotel. Great convenience store Bockwinkel's around the block for cheap meal options and to stock up on cheaper staples.

No free coffee. You have to pay for everything and this hotel parking is the most expensive around. Park at neighboring hotel if you have a rental.
