This was one of the most magical stays ever! The trip ended up being special as we got engaged on our first morning in Chicago, but the hotel made everything even more special. The view of the river was just everything I hoped and more - we spent so much time on the window seat, it was so lovely just watching the sun rise over the river with a coffee in hand together and we called our families to tell them the news from this seat it was so lovely. All the facilities in the room were impeccable - the section to make tea and coffee, the fridge and also the little touches such as the gym items and face masks in the bathroom made the whole experience so special. We loved the onsite gym and the popcorn snacks in the lobby were really fun. Best of all. All of the team made us smile as we were in and out of the lobby, such an amazing hotel in the best location.

Nothing!!! It was perfect

The rooms are beautifully furnished. The electronic connections for devices are excellent in the bedroom, but not great if using the sofa bed in the living room: my daughter spent the night with us and sat on the floor to charge her phone while using. Honestly, not a biggie, but would be nice if one could charge while using on the sofa bed. The view is just amazing! The staff is super friendly, professional, and responsive: the person in charge of cleaning our room actually ran out of a room she was cleaning when we returned from an outing to see if we needed fresh towels or anything else since we had the Do Not Disturb sign out 😊 Details: very nice coffee/tea maker in room, refrigerator, face masks!, plush robes, and an umbrella in the closet (Which we needed and used) The all day coffee provided in the lobby!!! Good coffee to boot

The only minus: that amazing view is due to the fact that we faced the street at a busy corner with incredible views of the surrounding buildings (one big ugh: had to look at the one building with the obscenely garish TRUMP sign, but that is not the fault of the hotel 😂), so traffic on Saturday night was a lot, mainly because of the glass packs and such from the beefed up performance cars that troll the area. Sunday night however, was quiet as could be-slept soundly.

We loved our stay at this hotel! The hotel is walking distance to every tourist site and easily accessible to the L train and to the Metro Electric Line if going further in the city. Every day we were greeted by Antonio at the door who made sure to make everyone feel like they were staying at a home away from home. My kids loved the view from our room and they spent happily over an hour every day just looking out the window. There are many great restaurants nearby. My kids loved Wildberry Pancakes for breakfast (a 7 minute walk) and we enjoyed McCormick & Schmick's Seafood & Steaks (a 3 minute walk). We also spent an evening at the river walk nearby just relaxing. A great perk at the hotel was the popcorn at the lobby in late afternoon.

We went on a pretty busy week and our room was not ready for over an hour after check in time. Our 5 year old was very tired after a long flight and looking forward to stretch in a room. However, they were apologetic and gave us a room as soon as one was available and the lobby area was quite comfy.

Excellent location for exploring Chicago. Close to main sights and public transport. The suite is big and clean with all you need. Comfortable bed. Water filter appreciated and good water pressure. The window seat is great for watching the hustle and bustle next to the river.

The room was not ready for check-in at 3pm. Only at 4pm after very poor communication by staff. A short staffed housekeeping can happen but how the staff handles this towards their guests makes all the difference. Upon check-out, no compensation offered, and just disappointing customer service overall. We were not the only ones frustratingly waiting in the lobby for rooms to be ready. Note that the room is not well soundproofed so you will hear the train and street noise.

We loved the huge windows that doubled as a sit out with great views of the bustling downtown area. The kid loved sleeping in the window, they were big enough for 6-foot tall adults too. Great location, steps from the river walk, boat cruises, etc. Walkable to millennium park and the bean, the Nutella store, Ghirardelli etc. There’s free coffee station in the lobby, popcorn in the evening and 7/11 across the street. We asked for a microwave which helped to reheat the pizzas, though they only had one available from our second day.

The downside is there’s lot of noise from the street and the metro close by. Night times can get noisy with cars honking and folks shouting/fighting on the street.

It was super spacious—felt almost twice the size compared to other king suite options nearby. The location is perfect: right in downtown and the Loop, just steps from the Chicago River and close to all the major attractions. The kids especially loved the two reading nooks! They were so big you could even take a nap in them. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the room was refreshed beautifully every day. We didn’t book a river view, but since we got a corner room, we could sneak a peek at the river, which was a nice bonus. All four of us absolutely loved it!

Great location! We took the blue line from the airport and got off at Lake\ Clarke - an easy walk to the L7. Great restaurant at the hotel which we used for a first night celebratory dinner. It was expensive but the premium steak set we both had with sides of Brussels sprouts and egg soufflé was spectacularly good. Hard to describe fully but one of the best meals I’ve ever had! Easy to get to Millennium Park and the Art Institute on foot and we used buses for a few trips. Loved the window seat in the room we had.

We just had a problem with the first day’s housekeeping which, strangely, was half done- coffee station not topped up, bed unmade and 1 mug missing but the front desk resolved.

-Lots of space in the corner I bedroom suite. -The room had large windows and window seats with cushions for lounging to watch outside, read a book or relax. -Bathroom had filtered water in the cold faucet so no need to buy bottled water. -Location was virtually next to the Chicago River with great views. -Extremely friendly, helpful staff -Offered complimentary coffee drinks and popcorn daily near the elevators. -Housekeeping came in daily to clean the room, make the bed, take trash, provide new glasses, etc.

Not much. We never went to the bar or restaurant because every time we were interested they were closed. I believe the bar closed at 9pm during the week perhaps they should open a little earlier in the afternoon and stayed open a little later, such as 10pm.

Loved the style, large rooms and friendly staff. We stayed with our two teenage boys and had plenty of room for all four of us. Beds were comfortable. Rooms and bathrooms were stylish and well appointed. Every single person who works at the hotel, that we encountered, were friendly and helpful. They even have microwaves they can send to the room per request. We were really happy there. Great location as well. Gym was great as well.

Honestly, the only critical thing I can say about the property is there weren’t enough towel hooks in the bathroom. Haha. Everything else was an A+

We had a wonderful one-night stay here when our flight was canceled and we ended up with an overnight layover in Chicago. I booked the suite and we were shocked by how huge the room was! It was a very comfortable room with high-end finishes. It had three big bay windows that were nice to look out and see the city. The bed was super comfy and bathroom was amazing. They also had Jeni’s ice cream for purchase downstairs, along with a free filtered water tap and a coffee machine. The hotel is in an ideal location, walkable to so many of Chicago’s best restaurants and sights! We will stay here again on future trips!

My only suggestion for improvement is for the staff to be more responsive by text. I received a text at check in that said to text them with any questions or anything to make our stay more comfortable but then they didn’t reply to my texts.
