Club Quarters is a fantastic place to stay! The front desk staff are always warm and welcoming, greeting you with a smile whether you're arriving or departing. The location is ideal, with stunning views of the river and Trump Tower right across. The rooms are well-maintained and in great condition, and the hotel provides excellent service and amenities. A special highlight is the complimentary coffee machine in each room, the professional espresso machine in the lobby, and the refillable water stations on every floor, these thoughtful touches really enhance the overall experience. Highly recommended!

The hotel appears a bit aged, but it's not a big deal as it is well-maintained.

Cleanliness

Got a phone call from the front desk at 3am aggressively accusing me and my partner of smoking in our bedroom and threatening to kick us out of the room. There was zero smoke in our room or near our room with nothing to smoke in our room or an ignition source. Desk worker yelled over my voice over the phone and left me no time to respond and explain it wasn’t me and my partner. That left me extremely heated and disappointed. I even felt offended to be honest.

I was upgraded because of lack of availability of category I booked. Much appreciated.

Entry to hotel when windy the door is really hard to open. Then if laden with bags, difficult to go through revolving door. If either don’t have or can’t get at room fob, can’t use the handicap access. When I finally got Pedro’s attention (he is with reception), he debated with me about needing to use the handicap access (I do not use a wheelchair) rather than helping me with my bags. He doesn’t have the skills for a customer service role.

Brilliant location for exploring Chicago - very central & near several L train stations, restaurants, & supermarkets. Reception staff - especially Ronnie - were very helpful. I was given a rather dark room (#812) my first night (which did not resemble the bright picture on the website), but Ronnie managed to switch me to a much better room for my next 3 nights. Bed was extremely comfortable, and good quality bed linen and towels. Free water and coffee 24/7 in the lounge on the 2nd floor. I would definitely go back there again!

Carpet throughout the hotel is rather old and frayed (but everything felt clean). The lifts can take a long time to come (5+ mins once) because they have to service a 40 storey building, so just be a little patient in "peak" hours.

Great location, very close to the Riverwalk and to public transportation. The room had the perfect size with a very comfy bed, there was a Nespresso machine with good free coffee in the room, good free toiletries and there was free purified water available outside the room. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and went above and beyond. We got a free room upgrade to the river view, which was fantastic. Bonus was the direct view onto the Trump tower.

It was a bit difficult to adjust the room temperature, but it felt quite comfortable nevertheless.

The location was amazing! Bed was comfortable slightly squeaky. Bathroom was nice! Loved having a microwave and mini fridge in the room!

I booked a room specifically to have a couch in the room and did not receive one. The reasoning being there was only two people on the booking. The first room we stay in for about 30 seconds before I called to complain was on floor 29 and the room was right outside the elevator and was very small. There were only 2 elevators for rooms 11 through like 40 which would’ve sucked. We then were moved to floor 8 which was better because the elevators were floors 2-10 and the room was slightly bigger and not right outside the elevator. Still did not receive a couch in our room which was still disappointing since that’s what we’d booked and what the description of the room said. Also wasn’t a fan of the window placement barely any sunlight could get through.

Great location on the river. This is a value property. You will not find a robe, a fridge a minibar. But the room was clean, quiet with comfortable bed. The room is small. I was conventioning solo and only needed my room to sleep in at night. Therefore was a great choice for this specific purpose. Was able to store my bags after checkout (which was a generous and standard 12:00 noon). Check-in process was self serve but front desk staff was there to walk you through.

Nothing. Again, this is not where I would stay on my honeymoon or a girls weekend. but if you want a clean, centrally-located hotel room with attentive staff at a relative value price compared to hotels in the same area, this is a great choice.

Location is tops. It is in front of the river, very accessible to the major landmarks and attractions like the Architectural River Cruise, the Millenium Park, Art Institute of Chicago as well as restaurants. The room we stayed in was quite big. Our daughter had an entire bedroom (with bathroom) to herself, and there was even a living room. Nespresso machine was another nice amenity.

Housekeeping is upon request, there is no regular schedule. Since we only stayed for 4 nights and were out most of the time, we didn't really mind this.

A very well located hotel overlooking the Chicago River (be sure to ask for a river facing room) and moments from the Loop and Magnificent Mile. Staff were friendly and helpful. There’s a subway station five minutes from the hotel. The room was a decent size with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was also decent. Room cleaning services are on request. The hotel has a gym and sitting area with coffee facilities. For Chicago this was relatively good value. Combined with the location this is a very good choice for the city and I would recommend it.

The room is a little tired here and there but overall was absolutely fine for my stay.

Fantastic position and spectacular river view. I choose this hotel for the river view, I liked it was very quiet- despite the fact that it is located right in the center, I slept wonderfully, there was no noise nor from the next rooms, nor from outside). The bed are also very comfortable. The price is also very good for a hotel placed right in the middle of everything.

The furniture is a bit outdated, the rooms are not very big (but not very small, also), the windows can’t be opened and the dust was visible on the furniture… but that are little details, not very important.
