Amazing location, walking distance to downtown shopping, Millenium Park and Michigan avenue. Friendly staff.
To pay for the US15 day mandatory fee- the perks are really not valuable for work travelling. In addition, it was not credit to my account when I used it for room service.

We stayed at the hotel for a concert at the House of Blues Chicago, and it was the perfect location! The hotel staff were friendly and professional, the rooms were comfortable, and the beds were great. The lobby was a nice spot to relax before the concert. We ordered food and drinks from the bar, and everyone loved the wings. The next morning, we had breakfast at Yolk, which is connected to the hotel. Everything worked out so well for us – we couldn’t be happier with the experience!
The only thing we didn't love is the $200 damage deposit, but we understand why it's necessary.

We had booked with Booking, com for 2 double beds, but got one king size bed instead. Our charming host (who's name escapes me) was very apologetic and dead set on making things right. He called us the very next day to arrange a transfer to a newly available room with 2 beds, and offered us complimentary drinks at your bar. We were settled and quite comfortable on the one big bed (I was travelling with my 21 yr. old son) so we actually chose to stay put. Your staff aims to please, and they do it well. They can take pride in their work...
Having specified "2 beds" when booking with Booking.com, your establishment apparently received our reservation from them for a room with only 1 bed...(?) Perhaps realigning communication with them would help avoid future misunderstandings. Besides that, there's nothing we didn't like. Given the time, we would've gladly stayed longer :)

Most staff were excellent and eager to help. I took down one point because of one staff who ignored my request. Also we liked that we could spend the destination fee ($25) on a lot of things. We got salad from the hotel's bar. We also liked that Yolk, an excellent restaurant, could be accessed from the hotel.
On one hand, a microwave that we requested was brought to our room quickly. On the other hand, the turntable didn't work, so it heated the middle only.

Very clean and modern rooms with comfortable beds! Staff very helpful! Location great for the Merchandise Mart!
I was at the merchandise mart but got so lost trying to navigate the hotel especially when I was trying to find the skywalk and ended up in the “mechanical” long hall of the building and couldn’t get back out so had to walk all the way back trying to carry my bags and in pain! Fortunately a very sweet cleaning lady helped me get to the skywalk!

Clean, comfortable, great location. I mean that's why I'm there yeah? As far as Riverwalk area goes it was the cheapest in its class, so that's cool.
They charge you that ridiculous destination fee as if I give a f**k about complimentary yoga class? The fancy hotel bar has the all the soul of a forced social after the business convention. But I mean, you don't have to hang out in it. I didn't. There's plenty else to see and do. Amusingly, the rotating door broke down like 10 times a day, every day, what's up with that? Yall ought to sort that out, not a good look LOL

The location can’t be beat! It’s within walking distance of all downtown Chicago’s major attractions and great restaurants. The complimentary continental breakfast was a great way to start the day. They had an assortment of breads/pastries, fresh cut fruit, eggs, breakfast potatoes, pancakes, waffles, bacon & sausage. The hotel bar is a nice place to grab a drink and something to eat after being out all day. I will stay here again when visiting the area.

Location was great. Facilities felt new and were very clean.
A bit of a tight space for cars but your valet and front desk staff made the entire process of parking and checking in effortlessly. They were really quite spectacular for it being such a ramped city space and their efforts would make me come back in the future and suggest this hotel to friends and family.

Everything about our stay was great… except for the parking. The location is ideal for many of the more popular venues downtown, which was a major factor in our hotel selection since it meant that all the places we’d planned to go were practically around the corner. I expected to pay liberally for my vehicle to “stay the night” tucked safely away under the hotel - but it was a little shocking when I realized that, had each of us driven separately, the parking would’ve cost more than the actual room! Having previously lived in Lincoln Park, therefore understanding the value of every 8’ x 16’ piece of land in the city, the hefty cost wasn’t really an issue - it was the actual parking of the car that nearly landed us all in therapy for years to come. By the time we were able to figure out where the hotel garage was and hand the keys off to the valet, the poor person who’d been driving (for many hours, on many interstates) was in tears. Luckily, the bar is conveniently located - perhaps for this very reason? The whole 45-minute parking debacle was traumatizing (Saturday night with many events taking place nearby) and actually left us in a funk for the first few hours of our visit, but once everyone’s blood pressure returned to normal, we had a fantastic time. The hotel was sublime; it had a gorgeous ambience, cool artwork everywhere, and a friendly, helpful, and blessedly patient staff. Of particular interest to me were the custom works painted directly on the walls outside the lobby. I’m ashamed to admit that I actually took more photos of the hotel than of the people in our group or the activities we did. Our room was impeccably clean and quiet (though again, quite pricey; it, along with 4 Bulls/Pacers tickets, set me back over $1,000. Not the hotel’s fault, I know, but shockingly expensive nonetheless). With the luxury of hindsight, I’d say the parking situation can be summed up with one word… quagmire; but our hotel/room selection was perfect.
Parking - figuring out how and where to park on a busy Chicago weekend evening with many events being held in the immediate vicinity (and the customary accompanying traffic) was a challenge of the highest order… or at least it seemed that way to me. I left my heart in Chicago when I moved away - but I’ll never miss what I came to think of as the “parking plague”. Even taking advantage of the hotel valet AND being familiar with the city wasn’t enough to make it easy. That said, I feel compelled to say that it alone was the only issue we had that weekend. Everything else related to our stay in that lovely hotel was smooth sailing.

The hotel is located downtown, the location is fantastic, we were able to walk to all the tourist spots. The reception staff were very pleasant, nice and accommodating. The bar staff were also very friendly, we ordered food from the bar on one night, and the food was tasty. Housekeeping was also very efficient
The size of our room was quite small
