A lot of hidden fees that where not disclosed at the time of reservation. For example, a mandatory daily $25 wifi fee, mandatory daily $25 food fee, and mandatory $25 daily spa fee was applied regardless of service usage or not. That was disappointing.

Location and staff was Amazing!!!

The fact that they don't tell you, that you get charged an extra $25.00 regaurdless if you use there wifi or not, and the rooms don't have a microwave

The location is perfect for walking to pretty much anything you'd need or want in the Loop. And if you want to get out of the Loop, the Lake Street Station is practically attached to the hotel, so access to the metro is SUPER easy. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable. The lounge area was also great as a comfortable and quiet workspace during the day.

Even on the 20th floor, you could hear all the traffic noise (cars, ambulances, police sirens) loud and clear. So it was a bit noisier than I expected. It's manageable, but if you want something super quiet, just fyi.

The SPA KING GUESTROOM had amazing views of the city and the Chicago Theater

The room was cold, with single-digit temps outside. The room refused to heat above 64-65 degrees during the night; and it was even colder closer to the exterior walls, making for a cold night's sleep. We tried closing the blinds, but that didn't help. It also blocked the city view, which is the whole point of staying in the room. I asked the front desk if they had any epsom salt or bubble bath for the bathtub, but the receptionist looked perplexed by the question.

I loved the location in easy walking distance to the Mag Mile, State Street, theater district, Millennium Park and Union Station. We saw a couple of shows, did some shopping, discovered a few new restaurants, and visited the American Writers Museum. The rooms were clean and modern. With art. The staff was friendly. I liked the lighting in the bathroom with main overhead light, mirror light, plus make-up mirror light.

I did not like that there was a $50 weekday and a $75 weekend minimum for the rooftop bar/lounge. The dress code was a little off-putting. It was disappointing that guests at the hotel did not have any special privileges at the rooftop bar/lounge. Small point but the sofa did not have pillows so less comfortable than it could have been. There was an outlet at one end of the sofa, but not the other end. Light over the dining table was bright and did not have a dimmer switch. TV options were limited.

We've stayed at theWit Chicago multiple times. It's the perfect location if you're going to the a show at The Chicago Theater or anywhere in the Theater District. This hotel is a Hilton property and you can access your room with a digital key bypassing the front desk. The rooms are very clean and well equipped with drawers to put your clothes. One of my pet peeves is when I stay in a room and have no drawers to put my clothes in. The bed is very comfortable and the towels are thick and plush. They provide plenty of towels, too. There is no iron/ironing board in the room, but the steamer they provide is excellent. There are plenty of restaurants around the area and things to do. I would use Spot Hero to save money on parking as there's a garage 300 feet away. I highly recommend this Hilton property for its location and cleanliness.

We love staying at the Wit when we go to the Chicago Theater for Concerts. The Wit is just steps away from the theater.

Not thrilled about the non refundable cancelation of reservations . My issue was with the booking agent who was willing to grant me a refund but the Wit said no it was the Expedia who was at fault but was willing to grant me a refund

Lovely hotel in a central position. A short walk to the river and lots of shops and restaurants. The L train also stops next to the hotel. Breakfasts were delicious - loved Steve, so cheerful every morning. The Roof bar was also an added bonus and Caitlin deserves a mention for her happy and friendly attitude.

We took the train from Ohare for $6. 3 short block walk to the hotel. Excellent location to explore all of the city. The staff is top notch. Always greeting us- offered up umbrellas to use. Roof top bar was ok but expensive and crowded. People lined up for dance club everyday at 4 but it never bothered us. Great good and service at the hotel bar. $24 to Uber to Soldier field for a show

My sister & I loved the staff. Everyone was very friendly & welcoming. We loved the complimentary water at the front desk. We enjoyed The Rooftop Bar. The hotel decor was beautiful. I would definitely stay at The Wit again. The Wit is conveniently located to everything.

When housekeeping cleaned the room, they forgot to leave a replacement roll of toilet paper. The roll was low... there should have been a replacement roll! We eventually received our replacement roll after calling the front desk.
