Close to everything. Someone was available at the front desk at all times. Wonderful buffet breakfast!! The bar area was small but had great drinks and food!

Our room had a smell upon entering it but once in you didn’t notice it. The shower was complicated to use and no words or pictures on how to use. Also no door or curtain so the water went all over the floor by the toilet and walking area (handicapped bathroom); it was big though.

The hotel location is great, there are plenty of yummy restaurants in the neighborhood only one block away (The Smith, Havana, Roka Akor which all serve great food and excellent mojitos …) and most attractions are within walking distance, very friendly reception staff, efficient elevators, huge laundry room. We didn’t use the gym room but it looks good too.

The quality of some of the breakfast items is the only thing I would criticize / the only flaw. Although breakfast is included in the room rate, I recommend they pick better doughnuts or better French toasts for instance. The breakfast selection is fairly wide but some of the items should be sourced from better quality suppliers.

Property was very clean great location with a great view from the room. I arrived a little bit early for check-in and somebody personally called me on my cell phone to tell me that my room was ready a little bit early. Very friendly hospitality staff, I even called to let them know about a minor repair in the bathroom with the soap dispenser, and it was fixed within 15 minutes.

The location and the view from our room is excellent. Breakfast was okay and the staff of the breakfast room was also very friendly. This place is a great value and certainly I will book it again when I go to Chicago.

Breakfast can be improved....it si not bad but could be better. Taking into consideration that I listed in the holiday season the breakfast hours can be every day like Sunday.

Great location - the hotel is within walking distance to restaurants and the river! Our room on the 19th floor had a great view of the city. The staff was very nice and helpful, the room was spacious and clean. We are light sleepers but were not bothered by the street noise - it also gets a little quieter at night. The Wi-Fi was a little spotty but we did manage to have our work meetings in the room.

Parking is expensive.

I call a week in advance to change my check in Time.. They still CHARGED ME for the day before and CHARGED MEfor an early check in. Even though I PLAYED THE CONVERSATION I HAD WITH THEIR EMPLOYEE WHO SAID EVERYTHING IS SET AND TAKEN CARE OF. SHE THE EMPLOYEE SAID THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO ABOUT THAT. then said after listening to call again said I could get a discount which I HAVE YET TO SEEN

Location was excellent. The room was very large for Chicago standards. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Liked the free breakfast.

The only thing that was a little odd was the lobby was on the second floor and the front entrance had a person sitting there, and we weren't sure who they worked for. We had to find a cart and take our luggage to the 2nd floor via elevator which was not problem, but would be if it had been really busy.

Hotel location was ideal for our activities, within walking distance to the river and lake as well as the L train station. The housekeepers were excellent, they always made sure we had enough towels and coffee and were very nice and respectful. The included breakfast was really good every day we ate there.

I didn't realize I booked a disability room - we hated the bathroom/shower situation - the drains were not sloped enough so water pooled everywhere. It felt like we were in a gym. Also the pullout couch bed was very uncomfortable but I guess they always are.

The hotel has a great location, 2 streets from the river, where you can walk, eat, have a river tour. The room was well equipped, even for more days (full kitchen).

Lobby is on the second floor, which is a bit inconvenient, because you have to take an elevator to the lobby and change to another one. Standard American breakfast, a little more variety would be better.

We had an amazing stay in this incredibly well-located hotel in downtown Chicago. The room was huge. The couch and kitchen really made it feel comfortable as well--it turned into a real "home base" while we were out there. The hotel itself is surrounding by a ton of quality eateries and bars. We were in town for a conference and all the events and activities were within a short walking distance. There are so many more places we want to try out--we'll definitely be staying here next time we come to Chicago.

The hotel bar had limited hours and didn't really stand out too much. It would have been nice to have something with a little more personality in that area. But overall there were no real issues for us. We had a great time.
