It’s always very nice to stay here. It is my favorite hotel in Chicago . The rooms are comfortable and I love that you can crack the window for fresh air.

Things have changed there was no champagne in the room which was one of the perks I always enjoyed it was cute and a nice way to start a vacation . Normally they communicate back when you message this time my message was never addressed. And room service wasn’t available for delivery which is literally the point of room service.

We had the corner King suite and loved it. My husband wakes up earlier so having a separate living room with a desk, couch, 2nd TV, mini refrigerator, separate bar sink, and K-cup machine in the other room worked out great. You could enter the bathroom from the bedroom or living room. For the two of us, it had plenty of space. All the staff were great and very helpful. In addition to bottle waters in your room (included in room rate), they provide fresh water (usually with sliced fruit in it) with cups by the registration on the third floor. They also have a machine that provides both flat and bubbly water in the gym on the fifth floor. They also provide K-cups (regular and decaf) in the rooms. The location was great and safe to walk during the day and night.

We really loved our stay but it’s worth mentioning two items. 1) My husband found it odd to have a glass door (but it’s not clear glass so you have privacy) separate the two rooms (bedroom from living room) because he felt he couldn’t put any lights on since it also lit up the bedroom. 2) This is not in Omni’s control but if you are a light sleeper, you need to either bring ear plugs or a white noise machine to place by the bedroom window or have one playing from your phone or tablet. This hotel is by a hospital so lots of ambulance noise. I had a white noise machine so we slept well but some guests on the 22nd floor said they could hear it so we shared what we did and they slept better.

We booked the Omni Chicago because it was walking distance to almost everything downtown Chicago. The hotel was beautiful, clean, roomy. I love the city view from our room. The staff (from the valet to the front desk to the room service) was friendly and helpful.

Parking was expensive. Valet is convenient but costs $75 a day. Public parking is blocks away from hotel and costs $50 a day. Traffic is congested. It takes 30-40mins to drive 5miles. But it is to be expected since it is a popular tourist site and no fault to the hotel.

The location is perfect for sightseeing, shopping, and restaurants in the central Chicago area. The hotel is quiet, comfortable and clean. The staff were exceptional from the front door to the housekeeping personnel. We don't stay anywhere else when in Chicago.

Honestly, there was nothing we didn't like here. The Omni staff address any concerns and needs in the most professional manner. They make guests feel like they are genuinely welcome. Unfortunately, the reservation we made through Booking, com did not reach the hotel, and I wouldn't recommend them. However, the hotel honored it and gave us the room type we requested.

The doorman Ham was an excellent greeter. He was professional, friendly and always willing to help. The front desk staff was so nice and accommodating. I loved Dena in the restaurant. What a lovely lady and made me feel that serving me was her priority. My room had a homey feeling because it was layed out so nicely and stocked so well. I didn't want to leave the hotel and will definitely be back. The hotel is walking distance to eveything.everything. As a solo traveller I had a wonderful experience.

Stayed at Omni for my birthday weekend. Great location, well appointed rooms (ours had an AMAZING view), but it was the staff that really made the entire experience exceptional. FD staff member Omar went above and beyond to make our stay extra magical. Any time we passed the front desk, Nate and/or Omar warmly greeted us and asked how our stay was going. I appreciated the warm and genuine service.

Excellent location. Used the car valet service, excellent. Car was back within a few minutes when we needed it. The beds in the bedroom were very comfortable. The gym is very nice, plenty of machines and space, fresh towels and water. Nice outdoor area to relax off the gym. The bar was very lively and lovely serving staff. Spacious room for family of 5

The sofa bed was not very comfortable and after asking 2 days in a row they were unable to give us a duvet for this bed, only blankets which wasn't very cosy.

It was very clean very fancy everyone was super friendly and more than helpful! We had issues with valet because of their new system but the staff was there to help as much as possible and got the situation resolved. Amazing food at the hotel restaurant with the best breakfast i have ever had.

Only thing was the location of the main entrance was difficult to get to because of the city being so busy.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable. The hotel is very clean, and the staff is very pleasant and has a great attitude. The rooms are very spacious, and the beds are very comfortable.

The furniture and the overall design of the spaces feel somewhat outdated. We ordered a cappuccino at the restaurant, and I found it rather average; I think that could definitely improve. Also, the Wi-Fi speed in the rooms is not the best.

Well I requested a King Corner Suite for my daughter and me. I asked for the prettiest view! All I know is that sunset and view from the bedroom was gorgeous! We loved the auto blackout blinds! My child took a nap as soon as we arrived! lol I went out and felt very safe in daylight and went to Saks and had my makeup done for a show later!! So fun!!! The bed was great!!! All white!! Appeared SUPER clean- I' do not like carpet and I did put down some towels- but also walked in some areas with my socks on- and they did not get dirty! So I was shocked. I shampoo my carpets weekly at home- so I am an inspector! It was actually as big as some apartments in big cities! Loved the layout- loved floor 7! We were in 717. Location was perfect for shopping, dining, and safety- and gorgeous!

I think it is HORRRIBLE that I was charged some insane 30 dollar " destination fee" . REALLY? What if I had not been prepared? What if I had to cancel taking my daughter to Shedd? I think you basically tagged on an insane fee to steal from hard working citizens and it is wrong, So- due to this- I will be tellling everyone what you do. The River Hotel did not do that to me 6 weeks ago.... so just the principle of it....... I will not come back to your hotel over THIS ONE THING. THIS IS INCREDIBLY CRUEL AND SNEAKY.
