First let me say the bell Captains (whatever you call the folks who help get cabs etc) were phenomenal. So helpful and got us cabs amazingly! Kept track of what we were doing. And so friendly. All the staff we interacted with were helpful. Love the view from our room looked over the river and the location. Figured out how how to get up and down to the river walk! And walked it a lot. Being close to the river walk was great. Overall location very good and easy walk or cab to everything. Hotel was really beautiful and lots of activity. Room was decorated nicely and nicely appointed with amenities. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms set up nicely for 4 people and all their stuff.

Nothing. But A refrigerator in the room would be great.

We went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary, we booked the deluxe king room with river view and we got the view we desired, that too on a high floor. Room 2819 had 4 windows with an amazing view of the Chicago River and overlooking the amazing Chicago architecture. Undoubtedly, the best view at this price point in the entire Chicago River stretch. Front desk was kind enough to acknowledge my request on the view (though Michigan Lake view is also amazing). Being Marriott Bonvoy members, wifi was free for us. Bellhop was very courteous and we got the luggage in the room within minutes after checking in. River walk is literally adjacent to the hotel, you just take one of the fast elevators from your room and a few escalators and you are there. Marriott also provides a complementary souvenir and a couple of packets of Garrett popcorns to sum up the nice experience.

Self parking facility was good but the fees were exorbitantly high. While hotel was charging $65 / night, we got the same spot via SpotHero at $42 (tax in) - that too for 24 hours (if you go with Hotel - they will offer you the parking till checkout). Also, Hotel charges a destination fee of $20 + tax which is an unnecessary add-on (just another way to make you spend $20 in their bar / restaurant). We used it in their grab and go breakfast bar and the coffee and food was good. But they could easily drop this fee and let the patrons decide whether they want to shop or dine in.

We had a great stay at the Sheraton in Chicago. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was welcoming, courteous, and patient with any questions we had. Check-in was smooth, setting a great tone for our visit. Our room was clean and well-appointed, offering a fantastic view of the river. It had enough floor space to move around comfortably without feeling excessive. The beds were comfortable, making for a restful stay. Noise wasn’t an issue at all, which is always a plus in a busy city. The bathroom was a solid B+—good water pressure and hot water, with a convenient shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser in the shower. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of this hotel is its location. Being right on the Riverwalk makes it easy to walk to so many great spots, and the convenience is well worth the slight premium you pay. Compared to other hotels we considered in the area, the Sheraton still felt like a great value. We didn’t dine much at the hotel but did stop by the Link Café for snacks, and the staff there was always friendly and helpful. The fitness center was another plus—well-equipped with quality machines and a good amount of space. The service throughout the hotel was excellent. The doormen were friendly and always quick with answers to any questions. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and professional. This was our third stay at the Sheraton, and the last two visits happened to be during St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Being right in the middle of the festivities and getting to see the Chicago River dyed green from such a prime location made our trip even more special. We’ll definitely be back again! Highly recommend this hotel for its location, comfort, and great service.

The AC took a bit of time to cool down the first night, but was fine the other nights. I think we just turned it on late.

I had stayed here for a business trip last year and returned with family for a fun trip. We knew we wanted to experience the Sheraton again. Great rooms with a beautiful riverview. Friendly and helpful staff. Very spacious lobby and lounge area and multiple levels. The location right on the river is great too to get out and walk to restaurants/shops or go for a run along the riverwalk. Very clean. We were there during the St. Paddy's celebration and got to see the river turned green!

There was no waffle maker for my son. He looks for these at hotels. LOL. But there were breakfast options on site though.

Customer service, had an issue and they solved it right away.

Breakfast restaurant and hotel need to communicate. Booking says free breakfast and hotel confirmed that, the restaurant said it only includes two adults not my small children. I said well my bookings says breakfast included so you might want to go talk to the hotel manager. Restaurant wanted me to talk to management… I ate breakfast with my family for free each day.

Breakfast times, accommodating and a wide range of breakfast styles to suit all palates. Room had a great view across to the Ferris wheel and pier and had a grandstand view of the firework display. Location to the riverwalk and the ease to navigate the city from the Sheraton's location.

Internet access at times ....had to keep going to reception to get support in keeping this. Staff were very accommodating and helped every time.

Wow! I loved this property! Felt like a true queen! Close to everything! Lourdes L. In housekeeping kept our room superclean everyday of our stay! I loved the shampoo, conditioner, and the pool! There is Starbucks downstairs! I would definitely return! It is the starting point for the Riverwalk! They have really thought about the guest experience!

The only thing I wish the pool was a little bit warmer and laundry room.

Location was very good. It is easy accessible to major tourist attractions including theaters. The view of riverside from the room was also wonderful.

It may be due to the day of the week, but the accommodation fee was expensive. The parking fee in the hotel's basement was also expensive, ant the credit card issued in Japan was not able to use at the ticket issuing machine ( I tried multiple cards, but none of them worked).

Location is amazing, and the rooms were very comfortable too. It’s my second time at this hotel and I’ll certainly come back.

It’s unbelievable that in 2024 only one guest per room can access the wifi, especially in a hotel like this one. The parking overnight rate should be cheaper for hotel guests too. The staff at the gift shop was always leaving the place and locking the store.

The staff was very friendly, courteous and professional. Our room didn't have a little refrigerator, that was the only issue, we've never had a room before that didn't have a small fridge for drinks, left overs and such.

We traveled with our little dog for the first time and our stay was very pleasant and comfortable including for our pet. The staff was prompt and took great care of us. We enjoyed our stay, our first time to visit Chicago. Thank You so much!
