Our 4 day stay at the Grand was exceptional. Comfortable beds, charming hostess, and a fun old house make this a great B&B.. The house is a restored victorian with tin ceilings, great woodwork and vintage stairs. Card games, puzzles, movies and other entertainments make breaking the ice with other guests easy. The hostess goes out of her way to make it feel like yoy are staying a a friend's house. The location is about a mile away from downtown so you have a quiet retreat away from the EFY kids and massive family crowds. Breakfast was wonderful and different every day.. Fullly cooked breakfasts, not cereal on the side board like some places. If you are looking for a more up scale place to stay in Nauvoo, this is the place.

Laurie was wonderful she loves her job and it shows. Breakfast was always delicious and eating with her and the other guests made each morning delightful. This is a beautiful Victorian home. Would highly recommend this site

We loved the quietness and cleanliness of the bed and breakfast. It was so peaceful and cool! (Great air-conditioning). Our host, Laurie, was great and she made the BEST breakfasts! There were lots of places besides the room where we could be to enjoy the puzzles, games, books, and snacks that were available to us! And the bed was SO comfortable!

Absolutely stunning Victorian home that my wife absolutely loved! Laurie was so fun! An excellent cook! Waited on our every need! She had many nice creative and fun/delicious little touches all over the place. I will never forget how she scrawled our names in the peelings of two bananas that she carefully prepared for us to take with us to the airport. Our talks with her were informative and delightful. Highly recommended!

Had some minor trouble with AC but worked out a way to be comfortable.

The timeless decorations and wonderful hostess. She made a wonderful breakfast and the company was enjoyable.

central a/c would be better but the small window unit worked and made the room tolerable. I wish I could have used the stairs. They were beautiful. Fortunately, wewere able to stay in the main floor bedroom.

The home was very comfortable. The host Laurie was so kind and attentive to any needs, even for pleasant conversation. The breakfasts were incredible! We would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone

I enjoyed everything about this B&B. It was like stepping back in time to the early 1900s. Mom and I sat in the parlor and helped put together a puzzle. The rooms are beautiful! The bed was comfortable, and our host, Laurie was outgoing and fun. She made a delicious breakfast for us the next morning. We wnjoyed our stay so much!

Absolutely beautiful! Victorian style home that was gorgeous! The host makes a homemade breakfast that is so enjoyable. Lovely peaceful atmosphere.

The property was charming, the bed was comfortable, the host was friendly and helpful, the food was delicious. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

This facility was beyond amazing. Beautifully decorated in the house original era. Every room was intriguing. The hostess was perfect and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and filling. loved it!!
