Nice room for the price! Small kitchenette was awesome!

They charge a $100 deposit, which clearly should be stated before booking!! What if someone doesn't have that deposit and can't wait 7-10 days to get that $100 credited back to their card? Then what? They loose their booking fee and have to find another hotel? That I think is ridiculous! PLEASE PUT WHEN BOOKING THAT THIS HOTEL CHARGES A DEPOSIT!!!

The pond was beautiful, and the seating area looked as if it'd be beautiful as well; however, it was way too cold to enjoy during our trip. The Five Employees we dealt with kind and friendly. Very refreshing. My son and I felt safe in the hotel, both inside and out. The reason I say this is because I'm from the country, meaning literally the middle of nowhere, and had 12 days here. I felt safe in the surroundings around the grounds and inside, which was very important to me. Also, being pet friendly, as I was picking up my Service Dog from Medical Mutts, they never had an issue or even blinked an eye about that. When asking for an extra roll of toilet paper at 10pm, she gladly and politely got me a roll. My room had a toster, small little 2 burner stove, small (regularish) fridge, coffee pot, and microwave and table for two. And, of course, the basics.

There were a few things that brought the rating from 5 to 4.5, but it won't give that extra .5 The first thing was that the microwave worked but didn't. My son had to push the top corne of the door for it to work; however, that is minor. Also, the sheets had a dingy smell to them. They were clean but had that left in the washer all night type of smell. Which is something else they can easily change. Then it needs at least a few more updates done to it. I'm not sure if they are in the middle of going it because it looks like they may be. Otherwise I didn't find anything major to really complain about just more of mentioning it.

The location is close enough to Indianapolis without being in the constant traffic hassle. There is a large courtyard, pond and plenty of parking. There is a microwave, iron/ board, fridge, hotplate, coffeemaker and cabinet space. There is a large laundry facility off courtyard. Travel for dog shows and it is difficult to find lodging without outrageous pricing for pets. This facility is perfect for that.

My room had a drawer that needed to be fixed. The location is difficult to get to off the highway. This is not their fault, it's the twisting and turning of new construction around it. GPS doesn't always help. It is no longer called a Motel 6 so that was confusing locating it. People have tossed cigarette butts outside and a lot of dog owners do not pick up after their dogs making maneuvering around poo a joy at night. Not motels fault as there are many dog stations with bags and placs for poo. However, employees should regularly clean up areas outside.

Room was large and had good kitchen area.

Lauren checked us in last night and Dez checked us out this morning. Both had awesome personalities. I love that it was pet friendly and I love the beautiful lake outside area where you could walk your dog. Awesome sitting area outside. I love that the rooms were like little tiny condos with kitchens. I love that they don't upcharge you for your fur baby. It was clean and comfortable. I think I most loved that they didn't have nasty carpet in the room and they had flooring. I would definitely come back. It's close to everything. And it's extremely affordable. Thank you keep up the good work

The only drawback was you could tell someone had smoked in the room in the past but it wasn't overwhelming but you knew it was there. Though the rates for the room overrides it.

Excellent value. This is the most economical of a large group of hotels clustered in a nice northern suburb of Indianapolis. Lots of restaurants nearby. Since we were traveling with our little senior dog, we NEEDED and were very happy with the pet-friendly nature of the property. There's plenty of grassy space to take him for walks including a large, nicely done retention pond to walk around. As an extended stay hotel, the rooms are spacious with a servicable kitchenette - you need to bring your own dishes and cookware if you want to use the stovetop, which operates on a timer, no doubt to prevent fires. We had a large fridge and in-room coffee maker. Beds were okay. The room was very clean, non-carpeted. Pretty courtyard.

The hallways are a bit stale and there is a smell of marijuana. The property is obviously not brand new and being lower priced it attracts a somewhat lower end clientele. However, there was a maintenace worker busy while we stayed and it seems clear they are constantly keeping everything in order, with all paint clean and kept touched up. There is a tiny office for check in, but it's not a lobby by any means and there is no breakfast provided; however, IHOP, Cracker Barrel, and McDonald's are all nearby. You should expect that there will be dogs staying, and you may encounter them in the halls on their way out for their walks; all the other owners we encountered were courteous and careful to ensure their dogs didn't get too close to anyone.

We stay her 4-5 times annually and as always the Staff are friendly and the entire location shows their efforts to present safe, clean, and budget-friendly motel accomodations. Look, it's a Motel 6, albeit a very nice one, so be realistic and do not expect a mint on your pillow. Our room had crisp clean bedding, linens, and a floor you could have eaten off of. Because we refuse to travel without our dog and cat, we stay in many Motel 6's nationwide; Indy Fishers is one of the very best we have experienced multiple times in the entire Morel 6 chain. Well done, folks! (All appliances working perfect, btw)

Would be nice to have rudimentary basic dishes, plastic silverware, even in the kitchenette as was pre-Covid days.

I couldn't park my Harley near my room but it didn't get molested at all. Other people I met there were very nice.

Room needed maintenance and deep clean. Lots of cracks and gaps and yuck built up in corners.

The location was perfect for our trip. Staff was very nice. Did not take very long at all to check in or out. It was quiet and felt safe. A lot of restaurants and shopping extremely close which was great.

Bed was really uncomfortable; could hear and feel springs popping. No extra pillows or covers.

I had a kitchenette with a huge refrigerator, 2 burners on a stovetop, all the dishes, pans, silverware everything you need to prepare meals in your room! It was a nice surprise setup!!

Not getting information or a map from the person at the front desk with needed information, such as, where is the location of my room, where is the elevator located to get to my room (there is only 1 per floor) & when are the rooms cleaned (daily or only on certain days of the week). It took me forever to find the elevator & then figure out where to park my car so I would be closer to the elevator which would make it easier to get all my luggage to my room with ease!
