Good location easy to get to

Front desk clerk was not very friendly or helpful. She couldn't find the reservation by name and when I said I'll go to my car to get my phone and email, she said "It won't help! I can't find you so it won't make a difference." I went to get my phone from the car. She told me I'm doing laundry so you'll have to ring the bell. When I came back in 30 seconds later, rand the bell and showed her the confirmation she said "You'll have to read me the number." I read it and it came up with my last name as my first name. Simple error on someone's part, but she as much as told me too bad for you prior to finding the error. Not a great first impression of a business.

Clean, comfortable and the front desk people were kind, welcoming and made check in a breeze. The hot breakfast was wonderful! Sausage, eggs, hash browns….absolutely fantastic (it was fresh good). I wish I could remember the name of the person who checked us in….what a pleasant person. We had our dog and they have a designated area to bring your pet that was no small area. You have a great setup! Near restaurants with lots to choose from. We would highly recommend this place.

Quiet and comfortable beds

We have stayed here several times. The faucets to the sinks in all of the rooms are the waterfall type and extremely hard to keep clean - there’s pink mold on the top that won’t come off and we don’t use the sink water when we stay there. Hope they change out there faucets because it’s a nice place to stay otherwise.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. They have a great coffee area and breakfast. The location is perfect, and the facilities are very clean.

The only complaint was the pool and hot tub were being fixed and not available. I did not know this when I booked.

The location was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do, so perfect. It was one of the best breakfast we ever had at a hotel. We plan to stay there again when we are in the area again.

The place had a welcoming feel as soon as you walked through the door. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The breakfast was amazing. The room was comfortable and quiet.

There was nothing I didn't like. It was perfect.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast very good and plenty of food choices. Availability of fresh fruit and coffee/hot drinks 24 h. Had a swimming pool with Jacuzzi and a gym. It was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

two of the exit doors did not work correctly vending machine did not work alarm system going off at midnight for a little over an hour unhelpful staff for communication extremely hot in swimming area and extra strong chlorine disappearing staff at the desk

hotel was very clean. Staff was very friendly. Location perfect. We were in town for football game. Easy to walk if wanted. We tailgated so needed our car.

The only negative I have is the beds were soft.

Stayed for Iowa State orientation. Close to campus and Ames. Breakfast is good, hotel is clean and comfortable.
