Our room was quiet and comfortable. We were in the corner room on the top floor. I liked the breakfast over all, although the eating area felt a bit crowded since there was a sizable group in the center both days, and I could not find a seat on the second morning when I went down there. But I just brought the food up to our room. I thought the price was very reasonable (although we had to pay more to get an air conditioned room), and the location good for what we were doing in the Iowa City area.

As I mentioned, I did not get a seat in the dining room on the second day. There was a large group of people there both days, and there are not that many small tables available for one or two people. It is interesting that there is no exhaust fan in the bathrooms, but the shower itself was nice and there was plenty of sink counter space.

The room was great for the price and great breakfast.

The lady that checked us in yelled at us while helping another couple. We were taking the stairs to our 2nd floor room and she yelled that we needed to take the elevator. I had been in a car most of the day and wanted to take the stairs to stretch my legs and she kept yelling every time I took another step so I finally took the elevator. I guess the stairs were out of order? I took a back stair case the rest of my stay so that I didn't have to see the unfriendly host.

Friendly service at check-in. Clean, quiet room and hotel. All well-kept. Nice extra that in addition to the rocking chairs out front also provided a separate outdoor "smoking area" with comfortable chairs under a gazebo/pavillion. Pool was nice for a bit of relaxation, had its own towels available. Breakfast offered a bite for all kinds of eaters. Easy to get to from the interstate exit. There is an aldi and fast-food joint neighboring. Across the main road -three minute drive- there is a filling station, shopping area, a steak-house and a tex-mex (which we liked). And more around the corner.

The previous guest had forgotten their dinner in the room refrigerator, otherwise absolutely no complaints!

Clean rooms

When I came back from dinner I stop at desk requesting wakeup at 6am Friday morning reporting alarm clock was not working properly he repeated to me 6am.so I went to room for the night in the morning he called me 515am and I ask him call me at 6am needless to say he did not lucky my girlfriend called me 615am my backup plan to wake up so I had to skip my shower and rush down stairs eat breakfast and get to Dr app on time

The staff was amazing! The breakfast was very good each morning. I was at the pool and jacuzzi every night relaxing which I pretty much had all to myself. This was a family trip as we were visiting our daughter who's going to school at U of Iowa. We took a trip to Waterloo to John Deere museum and visited the Riverside casino. Both great places when our daughter was busy. Also nearby Walmart was huge and had everything we forgot.

TV stations were satellite and selection wasn't so great. Also went out the couple times we had storms.

The location was perfect for us. Looking at a Goodwill store, and an Aldi grocery store we could walk to. Cheddars and Culvers are places we enjoy eating at. The breakfast was well thought out being able to make bagels, bagel sandwiches with egg, sausage, and cheese. Waffles are always good to make. No complaints about this facility. I am already telling friends to stay there if they want to visit the Amana Colonies.

The check-in process was easy. The staff was friendly, well-mannered, and dressed as if they were proud of their occupation. The rooms were excellent for the price paid for a double queen, which my family enjoyed. There are nearby eating establishments in the nearby area. The hotel was well-maintained inside and out, which made the stay pleasurable. The breakfast dining area was better than expected, with roomy seating and plenty of food options.

Location was what we needed. I feel the price was right our stay, Plenty of amenities. Nice large, clean rooms and everything]]ng we needed. Would surly stay again.

I can say that there was a dislike. And i should have asked for a room change. My wife has a hard time getting around. The room that w and as assigned was a 3rd floor room on a very busy street. Long way for her to get too and there was a lot of noise from outside traffic]c

This is my second stay at this hotel. As before, the staff was very friendly, the rooms are very nice and the bed was comfortable. It is near a few different resturaunts and is convienently located near the main highway and gas stations.

I thought there were restrooms by the dining area but I may have been mistaken. Either way, I really don't have any complaints about this hotel.

The front staff was very nice The bed was comfortable, the pool & hot tub was clean and BIG 💗 the hot breakfast was awesome as well. Next time I’m in town for any reason and have to stay of course I will rebook here. My family enjoyed our stay

I’m a pillow junkie and wish it were more pillows and it was 4 on each bed (enough lol) I’ll just bring me a few more. Respectfully 😂
