Location was beautiful. Saw deer when we were eating breakfast out window. Place was beautiful. Room and bed were comfortable. The art work on walls of pool room were outstanding. Everything worked. Staff was friendly. Bar was a nice touch. The drive getting to hotel was awesome crossing the lake at sunset.

Internet was down and we were preparing to investigate ancestors in Pella and Illinois/Wisconsin the next day so that hurt. The hot tub temperature was too cool. I like to soak my bones in hot water to make back pain go away. I had to settle for hot bath in a small tub. They need some different variety of beer at the bar....some coronas/dosxx, or MGD with limes would have been nice. New beer I tried was sour to my tastebuds.

Large rooms. Friendly staff. Very clean facility. Updated decor. No carpet in rooms which I like for cleanliness. Price is great. I go for work in area and sleep during the day and work at night. Blackout shades and quiet environment makes daytime sleep easier

No elevator so if you have a large piece of luggage, it would be more difficult to maneuver. Tap water has a distinct taste and it would be nice to have a bottle water to make coffee/tea with in the room.

The room was nice and big with a view overlooking a wooded area. They were in the process of renovating so I anticipate this hotel will be even better in the future. It has a standard door on the bathroom which is nice (so many hotels are going to barn doors). Good breakfast. Great quiet location near town.

Our room was extremely far from the elevator. The way the hotel is set up, there's nothing that can be done about the length of the hallways but it would be nice if there was a second elevator.

Everything was wonderful. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us from the front desk making a pot of coffee for us when we played games at the table to housekeeping who brought me a chair to sit on while waiting for my washer & dryer to finish. Great location for all the area sites.

My husband's only complaint was there were no potatoes on the breakfast bar!😊

Breakfast was good. More options than I have seen at other places. Location was pretty.

Furniture in room - especially the desk chair - really needed dusting. I had to request a lightbulb, which they got me right away. I had to request a do not disturb sign which I did get when I requested it again the following day. My hair dryer did not work. They got me a new one.

Most comfortable bed and pillow in Pella!! New flooring in rooms was really nice! Looking forward to seeing the rest of the renovations!

Guest rooms need a lounge chair in addition to the desk chair. Maybe it's part of the renovation and just not in our particular room at this time. Definitely need one, though.

Beautiful setting by a golf course and a few miles from town. The rainy weather didn’t allow us to enjoy the surroundings but it was a pretty area. Our room was comfortable and large. Breakfast was good.

We had a handicapped room but the shower had no place to put shampoo, soap, etc. so we had to use the countertop which resulted in a lot of water coming out onto the bathroom floor.

I didn’t feel like I heard a lot of noise….but I was at the end of the hallway pretty much by myself.

I could see cheerios on the floor under the tv stand….so I questioned the cleanliness. The TV picture seems fuzzy. The person working the front the morning I checked out was outside smoking and rather than help me at the desk, told me to just put my keys on the counter. 🤨 I also know the price was higher than usual because of the college’s homecoming that weekend….as a parent with a college student in Pella, I do not appreciate it. 😢

The hotel was a newer facility and we expected to pay a bit more than we actually did. The room was very clean and had everything we needed.

My husband recently had knee surgery and is still in a brace, making walking a bit difficult. We had asked and were given a room for disabilities. However, we had to walk quite a ways to get to the room. I thought it strange that the rooms closest to the desk were used for staff (laundry facilities, linens, etc) the gym, things of that sort, while our room was almost clear at the end of the long hallway. I will say, there was an exit/entrance that was closer to our room that made the walk much easier when we wanted to go get dinner after check-in.

What a great place to stay. Exceeded all my expectations. Staff are very friendly and kind. Beautiful setting. Nice breakfast. Truly the best place to stay.

On booking.com it would be better to have pet friendly, $20 for your pet.
