We love how spacious our room is. The layout is perfect with a separated living space, which allows us to spread out after a long day drive. The kitchen has everything we need for a nice homemade meal. There is a Walmart right next door for groceries. Super convenient and close to the county fair site. We got to see a live rodeo during our stay. The staff showed great hospitality! Will recommend whoever is passing Hays to stay here!!!

Nice clean hotel with a decent breakfast and a large gym. The oatmeal had many different things you could add including fruit. The TV had access to YouTube which I used to find sleep sounds one night when I had a noisy neighbor.

One night I had a very noisy neighbor, thankfully he quieted down about 10pm. Breakfast started at 7:00 which I missed most days, I had to leave for work at 6:45 to make it on time, wish it started a little earlier. Main breakfast was a little too sweet for me the one day I could make it, they day I checked out, I should have gotten the oatmeal and added the fruit which was available.

Easy on-off highway location. Small but efficiently arranged suite. Nice, new, clean and very attractive room. VERY comfortable bed and bedding. Good breakfast. Opens at 7am...many people were waiting by 6:45. But I sure appreciated that coffee and tea were available earlier than 7.

The shower felt cold, since it is doorless. But I guess that's a modern design trend. And it was attractive.

The suite was large and comfortable and had a full size refrigerator which is what we needed. Loved the large flat screen T.V. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choices—including muffin-size spinach/cheese quiches and (not instant) oatmeal with many topping choices, chopped walnuts, almonds and pecans, dried fruits, and chocolate chips and dried coconut, many more things to choose from. Definitely better than most hotel breakfasts. Nice gym open 24 hours. I will look for this lodging when I travel from now on. Also, friendly staff! and SO soft bed sheets!

No place to hang my clothes due to your custom-organized closet that you have to request hangers etc for. For one night it wasn’t worth the trouble, but with only a few “pegs” near the door to hang things on, it was inconvenient. Also, the gym had everything you need except for a few mats for stretching. The fitness center certainly has enough room to accommodate them. And last, it was new and tasteful, but could use something to make it look and feel “warmer”. No big deal, but it would be nice. L

I liked the layout of the Studio King room, the walk in shower with shower controls on the back wall, the complete kitchen with dishes for 4 and a small dishwasher. Had an apartment size refrigerator and a 2 burner flush stove in counter top! Amazing! Closet had shelves and basket organizers. 3 drawer night stands. Bed was very comfy too. Breakfast was eggs waffles, oatmeal, toast, bagels, cold cereal, yogurt, muffins, fruit! Property had an outside BBQ area, firepit, indoor pool and exercise room. Lobby was very organized with different sitting areas. Absolutely loved everything! Will definitely search for this hotel on future trips. Good job Marriott!

Wish there was a luggage rack for travelers who spend only one night and don't unpack. If a luggage rack, I wouldn't need to use the sofa and ottoman to set my bag on.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Quiet. Good Night Sleep. I like that there was internet for my laptop computer. I could also send to hotel email address a document by email to print out a document. This is my 3rd time at this hotel.

It was all good. There was snow and no covered parking, but my hotel stay was good.

We travel a lot from New Mexico to the east coast and always stay at Hays as one of our overnight stops. This place is so good with their super nice and spacious rooms.

The employees friendliness is missing. If they had that hospitality ‘Thank you for your stay, was everything ok with your room? Have a nice day etc’. This takes less than 3 seconds but gives the ‘welcome’ to your guests. And breakfast… they normally had more stuff like waffles, boiled eggs etc. Breakfast items became very limited within past 6 months.

Everything was great with the exception of the check in receptionist; she had a bit of an attitude regarding our registered service dog, NOT emotional support dog! Other than that, everything was great !

Breakfast was great! There was actually hot oatmeal that didn't come out of a packet. I saw many people eating it! It was great and there were lots of things to add. Fresh juice, fruit, eggs...it was all nicely done. The service help was a little overwhelmed but they did their best.

I would have liked a shower with a whole door that closed. It's a big bathroom and it was cold!

Great stay here! Room was new, modern and clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was delicious. They had a big pot of oatmeal with a tray full of toppings like nuts, coconut, raisins, chocolate chips. We've been eating breakfast for two straight weeks in all kinds of hotels and it was nice to see something different.
