We had what we were looking for. It was a simple room, but it was big and it had everything you needed. It was clean and although it was pretty close to the road, there was no noise that disturbed us during the night, it was a very calmed place. The Mammoth Caves are 15-20 minutes away, which makes this hotel the perfect place to stay at if you want to visit this national park (highly recommended, it is a must!) The breakfast didn't have a big buffet but it was okay: it had cereals, fruit, yogurts, bread, cream cheese and jam, oatmeal, muffins, milk and coffee.

It is not a real complain, but the breakfast could offer something else, like eggs and bacon to be more complete.

I think it's a very nice place, very close to Mammoth Cave. The price is also reasonable, which is great.

I feel like the bathroom ventilation fan wasn't working. I thought it would be good to check it and repair it immediately if there are any issues.

Nice clean room on ground level with good water pressure & bathroom had newer tiled walls. Can't hear any exterior noises. No bugs anywhere in the room. Friendly staff.

Need bigger pillows & another table with a couple of chairs in the room or bigger beds - there's plenty of space for them. The pool had a lot of dead bugs in it. Coffee in the room is weak & not much there for a complimentary breakfast, but there's restaurants close by.

Clean room good location.

The garbage in the yard and that the lobby was being renovated but no one was doing any work on it.

This was a very affordable and accessible one-night stay as we were visiting Mammoth Cave National Park. The rooms and bathroom were squeaky clean and quite spacious. Both are equipped with the standard suite of amenities for budget hotel stays. The pool was a nice touch. On the whole, we thought it was great value considering what we paid.

The AC in our room was a little underpowered; we had to lower the temperature to the low 60s to cool the room sufficiently to about 72 degrees. It would also have been nice to have a couple of hot food options -- eggs and sausages, maybe? -- at breakfast.

Great value! The location was convenient, there were interesting attractions near by, the pool and pool area was clean, and we enjoyed the cold continental breakfast. The room was clean and housekeeping was very thorough!

The beds were a little hard and the staff wasn’t overly friendly. Also, the parking is strange. The light over our sink flickered.

After a poor experience in another franchise hotel I was looking for clean& comfortable room at a fair price. Days Inn didn't disappoint

Being somewhat older and needing a restroom as I entered to check-in, I'd suggest you have a restroom near the lobby / dining room for just such emergencies

Great room and friendly staff. I'm staying here on business, and this is by far the nicest hotel I've been at so far. It's further away from my job, but it's worth the drive to have a nice comfortable room. There are plenty of restaurants nearby to get a bite to eat. Conveniently located close to the interstate. Will definitely stay here again.

Clean and neat especially for an older motel.. No problems with noise, was quiet and comfortable room.. Good coffee, good basic breakfast. The pool was wonderful! Cracker Barrel and McDonald's across the street were awesome. Very good proximity to all caves and tourist attractions.

Stairways and breezeways outside could use a good cleaning or power washing and a fresh coat of paint. Also wished the pool had opened at 9am instead of 10am.

We usually avoid hotels where you can enter the rooms from the outdoors because they typically will have some shady characters going in and out and always smells like smoke. Not this one. Smelled clean, had plenty of outlets near the bed so that we could be in bed using our phones and charging at the same time. Comfy beds and pillows, plenty of towels for the both of us and even breakfast, which we didn’t have because we slept in but was a good option to have in case we wanted it.
