We didn't go for the breakfast option, so can't comment. Staff very friendly & quick to help when we needed anything. The rooms are good size with en-suite facilities. The sliding door to those en-suite facilities helped with space utilisation. Bed comfortable & good size. Towels replaced daily.

Preferred to have an overhead light somewhere as lighting quite low. Multiple lamps helped offset but still overall lighting level was low. Sliding door to en-suite means that toilet use was not private noise-wise to the other person in the bedroom. Lift worked but needed maintenance overhaul. Panel & wires open, not safe for children.

The hotel was a great fit for the price. It was very modern and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful which was a bonus. It definitely worked for a one-night stay.

The bathroom shower knob didn't work correctly. It was very loose therefore had to take semi cold shower which wasn't great after spending all day in the very cold weather up in Natchitoches. Was looking forward to a hot shower. There was no garbage bag in the bathroom, wasn't used to throwing garbage in can without a bag.

Hotel was safe, clean, comfortable, and the staff was courteous and helpful. Very pleasant atmosphere located in a very quiet area but close enough to shopping to make it convenient. Rooms were spacious, comfortable with excellent HVAC, and had plenty of laydown room for luggage. Great value for the money!

Some service animals were allowed to roam unleashed which can be un-nerving especially with big dogs.

The staff were all very nice and personable. They were the highlight of our stay. Rooms were clean. Nice accommodations. We loved all the comfortable seating areas in the lobby. Makes meeting a large group easy.

Breakfast was good, but the choices were very limited and for $15, it did not seem worth it. They seemed to be short on towels as well.

Hard to Find as no signage - There was no signage on the road for the motel & the motel is set quite a way back off the road, behind a conference center. Our satellite navigator took us to an abandoned motel (which turned out to almost next door to the Avalon Motel) & we then drove down the road & sought directions from another motel (who were happy to assist)

Breakfast was really good each morning. Hotel location was close to where I traveled to for work training.

Water temperature could've been a lot hotter. It was just warm. Pressure could've been a lot harder as well.

The shower doors seem to be in reverse so you have to enter underneath the shower head. It’s also a pretty tight space. (The rest of the bathroom is great though)

A nice and clean hotel, far enough from the highway. Perfect for 1-night stopover on a way from New Orleans to Dallas / Fort Worth. Fancy see-through refrigerator and modern coffee machine in the room. Free parking.

No bathtub. No microwave.

The hotel was quite and the suite was spacious. I enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen, containing pots, pans, dishes and utensils. I was also pleased that there was a working dishwasher with necessary cleaning products, i,e, dish towels, liquid soap and dishwasher pods.

The hotel is undergoing a name change and renovations were underway. It was obvious that the new owners were aware of the need to update the hotel. Because of the updates being done, I believe that minor things like, the television volume in the sitting area was low, will be addressed.

I loved how clean it was. Love how it was decorated for Christmas. Loved how inviting and helpful the staff was. The restaurant had a great happy hour deal!

I have nothing bad to say about the property, I would definitely book again!
