We were passing through Lafayette on our way to Texas. We had never stayed at a Drury hotel, but found it on Booking.com, and it looked good. The rooms looked really nice, they had a free hot breakfast and the price was very reasonable. Before we even entered the lobby, Juliana (behind the desk) was already giving us a huge welcoming smile. This was the nicest, friendliest and fastest check in that we have ever experienced. From my ID, she saw I was a Veteran and thanked me sincerely for my service. She made sure we had all the information we needed and directed us to our room. The suite was fabulous. It had a beautifully decorated living room, full size fridge and a large bedroom with a great view. My wife rarely sleeps through the night, but she never woke once. The temperature was great, the bed was really comfortable and there was no sound, even though the freeway was nearby. I called Juliana a couple times more for questions about restaurants and the “Drive Through Daquiri” locations around Lafayette (Yes, very legal. No you can’t drink and drive). She was spot on with her information. Breakfast was great. Good choices, everything was hot that was supposed to be. Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, grits, oatmeal, fruit, cereal, toast and more. Really good and the staff working the restaurant went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The hotel is conveniently located very near the freeway. We were considering taking a different route back home, but have decided to go ahead and book Lafayette Drury Inn just because we had such a great experience. I think this would be a great place to meet family or a small business meeting. They have a beautiful area on the fifth floor with tables and chairs and a great view. I don’t know if they rent it for conferences, but if they do, it would be great. Great experience.I hope you have the same experience at Drury Inn that we did.

This hotel greatly exceeded my expectations. I chose it because I as driving a car full of important stuff and needed secure parking, which they advertised they had. I was able to call and quickly verify the facilities with a human onsite. When I arrived late afternoon, I was treated to a free happy hour and appetizers (like barbecue sliders) that were delicious and did me for dinner. Breakfast was great except for the lack of real butter (which I mentioned as a need and will check when I stay in a couple of weeks again; I'll be organizing my return trip just to stay here). Beds were great; room silent. High recommended.

Julie, Detra, Theresa were all very nice. Julie has excellent Customer skills and makes you feel very welcome at at ease. Her laughter is infectious. Detra manages the kitchen and has things very organized and clean. She gives excellent suggestions for breakfast and is very . Her breakfast suggestion kept me going all day. Theresa keeps the place running very efficiently. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Give Julie a pay raise.

The security guard needs not to interrupt the front desk person when she is speaking with Customers. She should attend to her duties. Thank you

Staff was very friendly and I booked this hotel last minute after missing the last Nantucket ferry. Felt safe and clean. Close walk to the ferry terminal and main street in town.

The hotel is definitely a little dated (bathroom primarily) and a bit hard to navigate (I got lost a few times). Not a huge issue, since I think that's consistent with the price per night.

A very spacious room and the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little bit pricier than others, but it is worth it. There is a pool and jacuzzi outside. A family friendly place to stay.

The room seems to be a little bit outdated. the fridge in the room is small. A group of young people occupied the jacuzzi and pool area so we could not used the jacuzzi.

We arrived close to midnight and the staff person who attended to our check in was extremely polite and did not hesitate to repeat herself the multiple times I asked her to. She made our check in easy and quick. Breakfast had a great variety of options and the area was clean and bright.

The one thing I did not like was that one of the mattresses on the bed was a bit wonky. We thought we might fall or wake of sore, but it still slept like logs.

Great food choices. Friendly, helpful staff. I made a mistake in making our reservation and actually made the reservation for thevDrury Inn in LaFayette,, LA. The two clerks at the front desk (Vikki and Angel(?) were able to find a room large enough to accommodate our party and one of them even submitted a form to reimburse us for the cost of the room I had mistakenly reserved in Louisiana. Drury should be proud to have employees of their caliber.

I loved that it had free breakfast and social time in the afternoon and had free dinner and drinks, pool, and security in the door were locked at a certain time.

Everything was good the only thing was that the room was very hot because unit was off and since I got a suite it took a very long time to cool. Also, the room had a paper with a different guest name instead of mine which was not very welcoming since the didn’t get correct name.

Staff was friendly and professional. They offer a free dinner (hot dogs, pulled-pork sliders, mac and cheese, chips and cheese sauce, salad) and 3 free drinks. Nice touch. Plenty of parking for trucks and travel trailers.

$2.50 + tax for a small bottle of water is outrageous! Kitchen had no dishes, utensils, etc. But other than that, nothing negative to say.

I liked the cleanliness of the hotel. I really liked the staff, especially Terresa at the front desk. She was so kind and helpful. She is someone that is a good ambassador for Drury Hotels. The breakfast was good with lots of choices including hot items . The 5:30 snacks and drinks was impressive also . One night was pulled pork sliders, salad , beans and baked potatoes. That is a nice perk that other hotels don't offer.

I was completely satisfied. You can tell a well-run hotel by the pride the staff takes in their work. No complaints and if I am ever back in the area I would stay there again. We look for Drury Hotels as a first choice option.
