The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. The courtyard was spacious and very clean. staff was very friendly and helpful.

The ice machine was broken and the breakfast was kind of cheap. Had to park a block away from our room and pay for parking for each day.

So many amenities! And the location was perfect, walk-able to everywhere we planned to go, so many things within the neighborhood worth visiting too.

Beds, Mattresses, Hot water, towels, all were exceptionally good and comfortable. Staff was friendly with one exception. Very relaxing 6 night stay with an excellent location with access to the famous St. Charles Streetcar which operates 24/7 and was only across the street from the front door.

The breakfast buffet was quite disappointing. My daughter and I arrived at 8:45 to an empty dining area and based on the sign in sheet that I signed had been only used the entire morning at that point by a party of 2. Despite the lack of customers, there a total of 3 pieces of bacon along with 1/2 of one piece of sausage patty for the 2 of us to share. I mentioned the total absence of any meat on the buffet to the service lady and asked if more would be forthcoming. She simply looked at me and walked away. The food items available were tasty but nothing said or done about the meat.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and the atmosphere was amazing. The pool and hot tub were probably my favorite part of the trip. After a long day of walking and visiting attractions a cool swim or a quick hop in the hot tub to relax was perfect. The location is minutes away from everything I needed or wherever I wanted to go. I received a tip and I'll share it with everyone. Buy a RTA Pass and ride the street car or any other public transportation! I walked a few streets down to Walgreens and purchased mine but, they I think they can be purchased online. A few bucks and I kept my parking spot, I didn't have to worry about where I would park there or when I got back, and I was safe.

I didn't mind paying for parking because I did feel more secure knowing my vehicle was safe in the parking lot but I didn't like it. Breakfast was 15.99 so I did not try any. Although, it did look and smell great.

Check in was quick and easy, and when we needed to extend our stay twice, it was handled efficiently and we were able to keep our same room for the entire stay. The rooms are located in a semi-hidden courtyard off the street, and the property is spread out, much larger than it appears from the street. The landscaping including numerous trees and flowers was lovely and relaxing. The breakfast buffet was fresh, varied, attractive and tasty.... especially the potatoes. The coffee was also good and plentiful. The location is fantastic, right on St. Charles Avenue, so you can hop on the streetcar and get to several popular locations in New Orleans without having to drive or use a taxi. There are plenty of sit-down and fast food restaurants right on St. Charles. There is a small pool and hot tub; plus lots of garden seating choices.

The popular breakfast potatoes were always in short supply; sometimes they ran out by 8:30, other times the kitchen was waiting for potato delivery. Also, I was told I'd be fined $100 if I took a cup of coffee into my room. This sounds so outrageous, that I honestly thought the staff person was joking! This is something that should definitely be clarified at check-in. There are paper cups available for take-away coffee if you desire it. The parking lot is very small and frequently full, but there's a large, well-lit overflow lot one block down the street. Both parking lots are supervised by an attendant, and I had no concerns during several days of parking use.

The rooms are located in an inner courtyard away from the noise of St. Charles Avenue, yet close enough to take the streetcar. The grounds are shady and quite lovely, with lots of iron tables and chairs outside the rooms to relax. There was a pool and hot tub, which was never crowded in the evening. The buffet breakfast was a highlight, with lots of local selections, and variety offered on different days. We stayed for almost a week and never got bored with the food.

The inner parking lot was very small and often filled up early in the evening. When it was full we had to parking in the large lot, one block down the street. They do have an attendant that keeps an eye on both lots. The hotel doesn't allow you to take dishes, or even coffee cups away to your room, and threatens to fine you $100 for taking even a ceramic coffee cup. They neglected to inform me about that policy during check-in. There are paper coffee cups that are for take away, however. At breakfast the fried potatoes were quite popular, so they frequently ran out during the early hours. Once they didn't have any for two days while they waited on another delivery. Also, on a couple evenings the hot tub jets were not working at all.

Super convenient location. Easy to navigate with the streetcar stop being right outside. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Really well working heater since it was freezing the whole trip. Free coffee in the mornings. Was really a quiet place and with security being there, felt safe. Room was so cozy and clean. Of course it showed signs of age but for us, that was the appeal.

Sometimes the coffee was cold/old and the staff in the breakfast room seemed irritated if we went in there for coffee. Also, no half n half. Weird electrical in room. Some switches would only turn on if you had another one on first. Water pressure was terrible.

Right from checking in, all the staff was extremely friendly. I like to stay here every time i stay in New Orleans. The location is great, not too far from the quarter and garden district. Many restaurants surround the area either walking distant or just a streetcar ride.Local streetcars pickup & dropoff right in front of hotel, Breakfast buffet was so good, fresh food items and Ursula (attendant) was so courteous and made sure to check on everyone. Housekeeping staff was very attentive/friendly and ensured the room was cleaned even when i didn't request it. The grounds & pool area was always clean & very well kept by staff. Brett, the AGM was great to talk to, super friendly and attentive to guests. I can see how genuinely he cares about the property and his staff. I love the style of hotel, which is very classical but still modern to fit the area of New Orleans.i give 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all around and highly recommend to anyone looking for a hotel. This is truly a hidden gem of hotels down south. My experience of true southern hospitality will ensure my return everytime.

Loved that this was not far from the action on Bourbon and Canal Streets. The street car 🚋 passes in front of the hotel. The staff was astounding with helpful tidbits on the 3-day pass for the street cars/bus. I did not rent a car for this trip and that was the Best decision for me. The mattress was comfortable, housekeeping came daily and I enjoyed my time at the hotel. Beautiful courtyards and quiet. The rooms are tucked in the back, away from the noise in the street. I would definitely stay here again if there’s availability on my next visit.

No shower curtain but no worries, I made it work.

The location was great. We actually found this place at the last min. But it was right by the trolley. Parking was a fee. But they did have extra parking in case the first small lot is full. The elevators works but u have to walk with your luggage or use the luggage thing to the rooms outside. . The rooms was clean. No smell. The security guard on site was very nice and helpful. He was there all night.

The only word thing I found was no door to the shower. It's like half a door. So I was really worried about getting water on the floor.
