The hotel is in a perfect location, easily walkable to the centre, Canal St,Bourbon St etc although we took the street car a few times & Uber taxis are in plentiful supply. It is a really well thought out hotel with an interesting history, comfortable colourful rooms which add to it's charm & amazing staff. Lucky enough to meet Steve the owner who is a font of historical & musical knowledge & such a lovely man. What other owner would give up so much of their time to have a chat & give tips on musical venues such as The Spotty Cat (worth a visit) .He accommodated our request to spend an extra night, such was our love of this hotel. The breakfast was amazing & varied, cooked perfectly by Christine. We would love to stay at this hotel again, it made our holiday, not just a holiday but cherished memories forever. An added bonus was the free parking, invaluable in New Orleans, some hotels charging over $50 per night. The area was a really nice neighbourhood & Magazine St is definitely worth a visit, you can catch a bus from a nearby stop. The buses & street cars can be used as many times as you like if you buy a $3 24 hour pass.Made some great friends there during our stay as the vibe at the breakfast was like a social event, relaxed & everyone was talking to each other.

Loved it all, perfect.

We loved this adorable property! The color, the art and the food were on point. The staff (thanks Olga!) in the office and in the dining room were great. The breakfast was delicious and made hot to order. We were super close to everything we wanted to see and do.

Some small changes would make a huge difference in this great property! The shower head really needs a soak in CLR or vinegar and baking soda. It’s all lime scale covered so the spray isn’t great. Easy fix! The outlet receptacles need to be changed as well. Plugs fall out off the all sockets because they are so loose, so using a phone while charging or curling iron is a bit of a pain.

So charming! A block from trolley stop that took us to the Quarter one way and to the Garden District the other way. Bed was so comfy! Less than half a mile from the WWII Museum. Perfect location! Breakfast was wonderful and staff had great recommendations on everything we asked about. We were sad to have to miss the Saturday night DJ and famous shrimp and grits (we didn’t stay on a Saturday night. There were couples from all over the world staying there. Which says a lot. We’ve travelled a lot in Europe and this place reminded us of the guesthouses we stayed on. 100 times better than any hotel. We love that they are pet friendly even though we left our girl at home with her grandparents. We would stay again if we go back.

This is a very atmospheric hotel—if you're looking for ambiance and vibes, this is the place for you! There’s something interesting at every turn, and we stayed in a Chinese-style room. The staff was incredibly pleasant, and I also want to highlight the convenient location! There are many restaurants and beautiful buildings nearby, plenty of places to walk around, and it’s close to the tram, which can take you to almost all the famous spots. I highly recommend it! If we return to New Orleans, I think we would stay here again.

Loved the hotel. Beautiful room lots of space excellent AC. TV was a little small for the space but worked. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Answered call asap and took care of issues immediately. Location was quiet, and it felt like we had tge place to ourselves

We had a third story room, and the only access was steep stairs. Made it hard to get our heavy luggage to our room. Next time, I will request a ground floor room. Bathtub was slippery needs a slip proof mat.

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon. It had a nice little courtyard you could sit and relax. The staff was incredibly nice. I forgot a precious item im my room when I left, and Keith (the guy in the office) mailed it back to me. What incredibly kind people they are. The rooms were clean and it had a huge bathroom. They have a cozy dining area they serve breakfast in. We will definitely stay here again.

Lugging my large suitcase up the stairs, but that's on me. I'm a girl who thinks she needs to bring everything, but the kitchen sink with her on vacation.

Very cute guesthouse with a special character located centrally in New Orleans. Free parking, around the corner from the street car stop, but walking to the French Quarter was also possible (appr. 25 minutes). Spacious room with private bathroom and free breakfast. In addition to the regular AC, there was also a heater in the room, which was great, since it got quite cold at night.

We would have liked to have curtains that block out the light from outside. It was a bit bright in the room during the night. Apart from that, everything was great.

Staff were extremely accommodating. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with pastries, bagels, muffins etc. with hot, made to order scrambled eggs and home fried potatoes. It reminded me of the guesthouses I stayed in while living in Germany. I'll definitely stay there again.

I have no complaints about the hotel. However, make sure you let the staff know if you have any mobility issues like bad knees. There are stairs to the upper floor but a number of rooms at ground level.

Very nice, colorful place. Really loved the decor. Great inlet and grits for breakfast! A small fountain in the center keeps the yard reasonably cool. Super cute towels ;)

There were too many windows in my room without blinds so in the morning there was too much light as well as a lamp just outside of my room at night. No elevator (not a problem for me) but if you’re old might be hard going up the stairs.

We had a lovely stay at this charming Creole-style hotel in the Garden District. The location is fantastic—just one block from the streetcar—and the area felt safe and inviting. The hotel has a quaint, historic vibe, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was quite good as well.

The air conditioning was quite loud, had to turn it off during the night and while it seemed clean I noticed a couple of stained sheets
