So my wife and I are in New Orleans a lot now that our son goes to university here…this is our new favorite place. That feeling of New Orleans you want…without the crazy! Street car access right in front of the hotel! Clean up to date decor. Perfect little historic boarding house on St. Charles. Our room had a fantastic king bed, great pillows, and COLD A/C! There is a communal front balcony for all guests to see St. Charles Avenue. The pizza joint next door is authentic, with a friendly little bar, and really good pizza. No fuss, price is great! We WILL come back!

Ok, so the lack of official parking and no breakfast options are my only negatives. With that said…I’d rather have no breakfast than a lackluster collection of poor breakfast options! Coffee and tea are always available. When it comes to parking we had no issues finding street parking around the corner…and if you flew into New Orleans and don’t have a car…the street car and Uber/Lyft are all you need.

I stayed here for a week and loved it. The woman at the front desk was a doll. My room was huge with lots of space, great tv with roku, the bed was very, very comfortable, the patio was nice for having coffee in the morning. I used the iron and the hairdryer and both worked great. The room had a small kitchen sink, fridge, and microwave. I could keep my leftovers and some snacks in there so that was helpful. I had a small desk to use for work and plenty of lamps around for lighting. There's a ceiling fan and the A/C so it's not too hot at night. Everything in the bathroom was very, very clean! Towels were sparkling white, the floors were mopped and the shower was in a great shape. NOLA small hotels like this are a gem. They are not the Ritz but they have that old New Orleans charm. I had a room on the 2nd floor and even without an elevator it wasn't hard to get my bags up there. They let me store my luggage after checkout so I could go about town before my flight. Overall, great stay and you'll love it if you're looking for a clean, simple space to call home while visiting the city.

I wish the windows had screens so I could open them up to get a breeze. I also wish there was a bit more counter space or a small table in the bathroom of room 204 to put toiletries on there. I would have liked actual glasses in the rooms instead of small plastic cups. But I just went out and got a big glass for my room and kept it there. None of this impacted my enjoyment of the space though!

Great location at the edge of the Garden District. Street car at front door. 15 mins to Canal St & French Quarter. Approx 20 mins to zoo, passing through the mansions of the Garden District. Good selection of eating places nearby. Front desk staff member was very helpful. Room was good size, comfortable and overall, very clean. Always good supplies of coffee, tea and bathroom essentials to help yourself to. Check in process was straight forward.

The smoke alarm went off one night and because there were no staff at the hotel, it took a while before it was deactivated. The floor in the room needs a good clean. Was wearing socks inside and after a couple of days, they were very dirty.

It was a beautiful building located right on the streetcar line, which was only a ten minute ride into the quarter. Very nice area with bars and restaurants within walking distance. We never felt unsafe walking late at night, so that's always a plus.

The toilet didn't flush when we got there but was quickly resolved so no issues.

Great location, gets the job done for people looking to stay near the Garden District and French Quarter. Clean room, a little basic but nothing to complain about. Woman who runs the place was super helpful and gave us suggestions for things to do, and let us store our bags there after checkout since our flight was in the evening.

Not much to complain about. A little bare bones but we expected this for a budget hotel. Wish it had 2 nightstands on either side of the bed, and outlets on both sides, that is my only gripe if I have to have one.

I can not put into words how amazing this hotel is, and I will be going back again. It was so clean, very welcoming, the patio was very beautiful. The room was extremely comfortable, and the woman (i feel horrible i dont remember her name), but she is the most kindest person I've ever met. I HIGHLY recommend anyone who visits New Orleans to book your stay at the Historic Streetcar Inn. You would not be disappointed!

Great value for the price. My room was little but cute and my bathroom was nice! There was a little courtyard we could relax in. The trolley stops right out front and there are a couple places you can walk to from the hotel for food or a drink.

I wish there was breakfast, even if it was just coffee already made and serve yourself fruit/granola/etc. It can be a bit noisy - to be expected in an old repurposed home imo. Don't stay here if you need lots of quiet to sleep. For me it wasn't an issue but I think it's fair to note.

It’s a cute little room, nothing special. No refrigerator or microwave in the room. Staff were friendly. Great location by a bus and trolley stop. Parking was close by on the side street. Cute little pizza place. Loved having a digital key to the door and gate.

AC stayed on all night, but keep us cool. Would be nice to have a full length mirror in the room.

Location was perfect. The rooms were large and comfortable! I was going on a cruise and stayed before and after. I was disappointed there was not a coffee pot in the room so I brought my own. Diane was wonderful and took care of any thing I asked for of about quickly! I look forward to staying again!

No coffee pot in the room.

I love The hotel and the location! Great restaurants within walking distance and a pizza restaurant right next door, the pizza was delicious! The staff responded quickly to any concerns and they work fast! I never verbally spoke to anyone. Everything was through text. However they got the job done! I have already recommended this place to five people.

Front entrance should remain locked and porch lights should be on at night. But the place is beautiful! I will be returning very soon!
