The house was lovely and had that NOLA charm to it. It is located right off the highway, but close enough that we walked to different restaurants. It was even close enough to one of the Hop on Hop off bus stops, so we didn't have to worry about paying for parking when we went into the city. There was always enough parking on the street by the house as well. The house itself was very beautiful and clean. It was so quiet our entire stay that it felt like the home was just ours. Our room was very spacious, beautiful, and clean! The bathroom was attached to our room and was also very clean and spacious. The only person we saw was the housekeeper, Melissa, and she was the sweetest and friendliest person. We had an amazing trip and would stay here again!

When we were making our plans, we saw WG Creole House’s low price and wondered what the catch was. As far as we are concerned, there is none! We had a great 3 day stay, our room was comfortable and spacious, the location is a 15min walk or 5 min streetcar to the french quarter, and has many good restaurants nearby. They were responsive with any questions, and we would definitely stay here again. Perfect guesthouse for those on a budget just between the main tourist areas of french quarter and lower garden district.

The hot water works fine but takes several minutes to activate while the water is running.

The establishment was so beautiful and well kept. Our room was gorgeous and huge. It was very clean and the staff was so amazing and friendly. The value for the quality was phenomenal.

The neighborhood was questionable. We seen a lot of homeless people asking for money, and questionable people very close to the establishment. We were concerned about the safety of our vehicle. However there were no issues and everything turned out to be fine. There also was a very big staircase we had to climb and carry luggage. There was no bathroom in our room. We had to leave our room and go down a hall and put a code in to use the bathroom. It made us feel very vulnerable in the middle of the night. Please don’t let this detour you, we would definitely stay there again!!

The property was very luxurious, the beds very comfy and the reception area downstairs a lovely place to relax. Great location (a 2-3 minute walk from the trolley car), and despite what others say the walk under the underpass into the city isn’t too bad, it’s fairly busy and well lit. You also bypass this by taking the trolleycar. By far the best bit about this property however is Melissa!! She was endlessly helpful and kind, and embodied the true essence of southern hospitality. Made my day seeing here on my way in or out of the hotel.

The property itself was faultless in terms of value, I would say if I had to pick one that either end of clio street is a little bleak. The middle part where the property is, is absolutely fine however. Couldn’t recommend this place more !

I didn't have breakfast as I don't think breakfast was included. I did make myself a couple cups of tea in the kitchen/dining area. I think you could have used some of your own food in that facility. This is a wonderful place to stay. Most highly recommended. I would definitely try to book it if I were to visit New Orleans again. It is walkable from the train station although Google Maps does not provide the best route for getting there.

I was told I could leave my pack under the stairs until 3 pm check-in. The door was locked and there was a phone number. Unfortunately, my phone did not have cell service so I could not make contact. Luckily I ran into the housekeeper coming out and she let me in, showed me to my room and gave me the codes. In the evening when I was checking my email, I found that they had sent me the code information. I wasn't expecting an email before check-in and had no way of accessing it. Not sure what would have happened if I hadn't run into the housekeeper.

Amazing place. A classic New Orlean style house filled with all the 'special' vibes of this wonderful city. It's extremely clean and much bigger than any other accommodation at such a price. The most important thing... you feel that they respect you as a customer and as a human being. Also, it's close to the downtown and the historic French Quarter - about 20 minutes walking distance (I never used a streetcar but there are two different choices if you like). A HUGE PLUS - Melissa. She's such a great person and ready to help you with anything. Also a great singer 😉

The only minor thing is the water pressure of the sink in the bathroom.

We loved the house. Pictures don't even show how big is this place. We had a very comfortable, clean and spacious room with external private bathroom. There was no one else on the upper floor so we felt like home. We had plenty of towels, hair dryer and nicely equipped kitchen. Check-in instructions were very clear. Thank you Melissa for making our stay comfortable and memorable. The house is a genuine New Orlean's experience.

Its not really about property, because I cannot say anything bad about the room or house or facilities. But it's good to know that the street where the house is located is near quite dodgy area. Tip from us: Just don't walk to the center, get a Tram (Streetcar) which is located nearby and its only 1.25$. Its a super cool ride and experience.

The house is lovely, a typical creole house and the decor, with attention to every detail contributes to the pleasure of your stay. It's not far from the city center, which can easily be reached with trolley and buses, and nearby there is the artistic district. Melissa is amazing, and a great singer! My suggestion is to improve the room lightening. Thank you!

The house was gorgeous. Our room was quaint and comfortable. The owner went out of their way to make sure the house and our areas were secure, comfortable and clean! The location was excellent. Ms.Melissa was very friendly and helpful, she made us feel like we were at home!

I wish we could have stayed longer!

The location was great. A quick 5-minute walk to the street car, which was only $3/day for unlimited public transportation. The housekeeper, Melissa, was WONDERFUL!!!! So much fun to talk to, she made us feel like family and was constantly providing great recommendations for anything we asked for. (She is the middle person in the attached group selfie.) The BED and PILLOWS were AMAZING. I honestly commented to my hubby about these everyday...they were the MOST COMFORTABLE bed and pillows I've ever slept on. The temperature of the room was always perfect. We were there in January, and the heater always went on and off at the perfect time to make it consistently very comfortable.
