Seeing that it was built circa 1799 this house isn't the most modern facility you'll find. But it has immense character. We stayed one night that we had booked and then booked another. The bed & bath have been updated with modern plumbing, a/c, comfortable bed, big screen, etc. Homemade cookies offered.

Of course the room we had was a bit on the small side, but that is fully to be expected given the period of the home's construction. I had to stretch to mention anything at all I didn't like.

Great little Inn right on Main St in Kennebunk. We walked to 7 High restaurant for dinner- sat outside on the deck and ate a delicious meal. Stopped by the little park next to the river to take some pictures. The front desk lady was so friendly and sweet- she told us some history, went to grab us some freshly baked cookies and got whipped cream for my daughter to add to her hot chocolate (they have free coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby). Our room was small but beautiful with a big comfy bed. I loved that you could open the windows for fresh air. In the morning, we walked out back and across street to the very popular Boulangerie Bakery- there was a long line for good reason! Parking for the hotel is very easy- right out back. Before we checked out, we walked across the street for the Farmers Market (Saturday morning) and then up the street to the Health Food store- what a selection! Overall, a very lovely stay in the adorable town of Kennebunk.

Great location, within walking distance of cute downtown shops and restaurants. The lobby staff was super friendly and helpful with suggestions of places to visit and eat. A homey living room with fireplace and puzzle was great for casual visiting.

Because of the age of the building, the wooden floor was sagging in the center of the 3rd floor room we were in. Not a problem for us but could be for some people. The room decor was plain, but very clean and in keeping with the vibe of the building. Steep narrow stairs .

We spent our honeymoon there so it holds a very special place in our hearts. We even requested the same room for this trip.

The fact that the restaurant isn't open more than once during the week and there aren't any food options. Adrian does a phenomenal job behind the bar and we just love him, but he isn't being utilized. Several mornings we went to the bakery behind the Inn, which we love, and brought our breakfast back to eat in the lobby area. But Dylan at the front is awesome and so is the lady that's also there. No complaints other than no restaurant.

Quaint B&B in a great area! The staff is very attentive and helpful with great recommendations! The Inn is old with creaky wood floors but lovely and comfortable. We had a bag with fresh towels, toiletries and toilet paper at our door every day, that was a nice touch.

No central heat and air, so it took a minute to figure out the radiators.

I wish there were more electrical outlets in the bedroom, couldn’t locate them with ease (almost had to unplug one of the room lamps to actually use an outlet) until we took 10 whole minutes of scanning everywhere in the room to find only 2 useful ones in awkward spots : one right next to the bathroom sink (which didn’t seem useful due to no area to hold out electronic without getting wet) or an outlet which was randomly near the floor in an awkward spot in the room. I also wished the tavern was available during the nights we were staying— didn’t know they were open only Thursday-Sunday.

Staff was awesome! French bakery behind it. Free parking behind. Picklesball court next door. Short drive to kennebunkport. Away from hustle and bustle.

Beds were super firm. Some foam toppers per request would be awesome! Very few places to plug electronics in. If management is reading thos, maybe some power strips or something?

Bed very comfortable.We loved the tavern and Adrian is a real asset!

There could be more parking.My husband is handicapped and the lot only has 8 spaces.Bathroom is very cold as is water although it heated up on last day.I know it’s an old building so I get it but still.Also, coffeemaker in room would be nice.

Our room was lovely, albeit a bit small - we will research the rooms a bit more before booking next time. The two recommended breakfast spots were nice (no breakfast included , just a 10% discount at these two places)

Unfortunately there was no attached restaurant and happy hour was only once in the 4 day stay. The room was small with no space to work on laptop - I had to go down to the 'closed' dining room - which worked out well :) I was looking forward to seeing a ghost - no ghost haha

I went with my husband the inn was quaint, there was plenty of parking, discounted beach passes and loved central to the community. We did find a cute cafe called Blue that we get a discount at, if we mentioned we stay at the inn. The cafe has nice pastries and excellent coffee and Frozen Lemonade.

The only thing we didn't like was our bed. The bed was hard as a rock.
