I loved everything about this stay! We were on a road trip from NC to ME stopping here and there on the way. This stay was a treat to ourselves after hiking Mt Katahdin. No, it wasn't too close to the AT but it was still perfect. We roughed it, then stayed in cozy bliss. The staff was always smiling and helpful. The food was amazing! Breakfast was cook to order with half a dozen options to chose from and all looked delicious - omelets and French toast can be personally vouched for. Dinner was great! There was a little confusion on which place held our reservation, the pub downstairs or the bistro on the main level, but the menu was the same regardless. Location was right on the bay which gave amazing views and everything seemed to be a short drive away. Cute downtown area and lighthouses caught our eye as we explored for a couple days. We stayed in Boston, on the AT, here and in Philadelphia, This was exactly what we wanted during this portion of the trip! Exceeded expectations!!

There wasn't a thing I would change. Parking was convenient, separate buildings were easy enough and certainly close enough. There were even little seating areas all over the place - on the patios, on the lawn, in the common areas. It felt cozy, homey, and serene.

A small, but clean and bright corner room with a comfortable bed and a harbor view from large double windows. (Room 2 in the Sail Loft building.) I was warned the lobster boats/fishermen could be noisy early in the morning, but only heard one boat heading out about 6:30 AM. The lobby has a public living room with stocked built-in bookshelves and is decorated with model ships and coastal art/historic photos that are interesting to see. The meals were delicious: French toast and sausage for breakfast and fish and chips for dinner. Dinner portions were huge! The staff were very friendly and polite, and the check-in/out process was smooth and simple. It's in a very pretty setting on a working harbor, and the small-town roads are lined with well-kept classic seaside homes. Just a short drive to Port Clyde for the Monhegan boat!

Have a larger sign out by the main road pointing the way to the inn. I couldn't find the correct side road and had to backtrack to find it. Hint: it's just before the General Store if you're heading toward Port Clyde.

Tenants Harbor was a lovely area where working lobster boats and pleasure craft co-mingled. There is a convenient public launch nearby, a small general store and the view is lovely. We enjoyed breakfast on the porch and late meals and beverages in the pub downstairs. The room in which we stayed was spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable. I loved the shower!!

A bit better food variety in the pub would be nice. More fresh choices for vegetarians. There was a salad option, but it was not very interesting. Everything else was a bit heavy - fried, etc. The pub is a nice place to eat, less formal and easy to relax.

Beautiful property with water views and gorgeous sunrise and sunset. Wish it would have been a little warmer so we could have enjoyed sitting in the outside areas.

Our room at the Inn didn’t have a refrigerator or microwave. We did have some drinks that we would have liked to stay cold. Window didn’t work even though it was cold during the night and in the 30s in the morning.

Lovely location with excellent views of the bay. Very friendly and accommodating staff and excellent breakfast. The Quarry Pub is an added bonus with very good food and drinks.

Our room faced the fishing pier and was very noisy every morning starting ~4:30 as fisherman started their day. Although interesting I would not recommend staying in one of the rooms facing the pier. Additionally, one of the drawers on the dresser in our room fell off when we went to open it and one of the hinges on our rooms door was hanging off. These are small things but leave an impression that basic building maintenance is not a focus.

The location of the East Wind Inn is gorgeous. Right on the water with beautiful lawns going down to the shore. It is quiet and serene. The view of the outer islands is fantastic. Breakfast was included which was delicious. You could tell the ingredients were very fresh.

Honestly, I can't think of one thing I didn't like.

Having breakfast outside on the terrace overlooking the harbor was such a beautiful way to begin the day. It really made us happy. We even enjoyed sitting by the fire pit in the evening after the sun went down.

There was some lack of communication between booking.com and the hotel that led to us having a room with 2 double beds rather than a queen. We pushed the beds together and were fine, but at that price point, we should not have had to deal with that.

Beautiful and quiet location on the harbor, very pleasant and helpful staff, large room, comfortable bed, wonderful food at the on-site restaurant, daily coffee and tea in the lobby

There was nothing we did not like. Floor lamp did not work but did not need it and suspect it just needed a new lightbulb

This property is located right on the water in a nice quiet spot. We enjoyed the feeling of a quaint Inn but with some modern amenities (AC!)

We wish the bar and restaurant stayed open a bit later in the evening, but all night life in Tenants Harbour seems to wrap up around 9pm.

The staff is amazing. The Inn itself is so charming. We loved that its right on the harbor and pet friendly. The food is very good. We had a perfect stay here and will come back every year
